"I'm a big burger fan. Restaurants, the Burger RARE a few and far between. The standard is one of these restaurants. Hamburgers should be rare. The standard Bistro Burger should be your next meal. It is made with brisket and ground beef. The aromas just explode in your mouth when you take the first bite and they will stay with you until you have dessert. The Chocolate Beet Cake is great. Come on, it's made with beet so it's healthy. Right? Look, Mom, I'm eating my vegetables. With a well-stocked bar and bartenders who know how to get the drinks everyone wants, The Standard makes the place to come. Forget downtown Scottsdale. Unless you like the heavy club scene and the lack of parking will come here first. Save your money and ears. If Burger doesn't do it for you, I recommend the Tacos. With several different types to choose, you will enjoy all. The Duck Confit is one of the best I had in town. If you are vegetarian, I recommend the Korean rice dish. You have your choice of proteins, so you can decide which level of vegetarian you want to be. It's okay if you get out of the closet to have some chicken or beef. We carnivores will still like you."
