"Stopped by mid afternoon for lunch. Service was quick , lunch served in approx. 20 minutes. Prices a little on the high side , $19.00 for burger and fries. Portion’s very generous and tasty. Beer was nice and cold on a hot day. Dog are allowed on the patio.Three dinner’s with dogs on patio while we were there .Quite enjoyed their presence ."

"My favourite place to go on a Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The staff is amazing and they look out for you. The clients are friendly. They have music, bingo, and trivia every week, (not all on the same day). They have a great selection of beer! I repeat A GREAT beer selection of local and not as local breweries. Not much by way of foreign beer, so you've been warned. But the list is pretty extensive. You will find something you like. Bring back bangers and Mash!"

"Large restaurant specializing in breakfasts and brunch. They were able to accommodate our family group of 10 with no difficulty. The menu is large and offers a wide variety including gluten free and vegan friendly. Our server was great, super friendly and accommodating. The coffee drinks were pronounced delicious and the eggs Benny and French toast were particularly good."

"Received an advertisement flyer from them in the mail..Looked Good Drove across Peterborough to the North End to order a Pizza....On the window is a sign Walk in Specials ...BUT door locked person in side made eye contact and did not answer the door..Hand written sign...says phone orders only..Staff blew me off. their advertisementSAD in the mailing made no mention of the restrictions and I waste 25 mins of my time and gas for their Poor Customer Service..Sad.:"

"Went there for dinner last night and on a Saturday night it was just the two of us (probably because of March break), so we had amazing service. Hubby loved the Maple Whiskey Sour and enjoyed his mushroom burger. The Electric City bowl was the perfect combination of sweet potato and Tempah. It definitely fills you up and you can taste the freshness. A great way to end the dinner was with a peanut butter cup. HIghly recommend!"

"Nicholls Oval Restruant is a very good place to eat when you crave the very best fish and chips around Peterborough. They serve a mean breakfast as well and the prices are reasonable"

"Service was excellent. Didn't try any food but the beer was cold and they have a good selection, especially for a small place. Patio atmosphere was nice. Suggestion to the owner/manager: get a couple bug zippers for the patio. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes and inside was packed so no real options to avoid it. Overall, I would be back if I were local."
