"Brought my mom here for Mother's Day lunch, we started with poutine because we're classy like that and shared the veggie curry and pesto panini sandwich. All were made vegan by request (they have vegan pesto, Daiya and Earth Balance margarine!!!) and were delicious. The service was terrific too. I was disappointed their burger isn't vegan but the food we had made up for that. I look forward to visiting this place again when I'm in Surrey."

"We popped in for a late lunch /early dinner and had probably the best service I have had in years. This waitress, tracey anticipated evey want or need and couldn't have been sweeter to my son. The food was nice but I would go back for the service"

"It was my wife's choice to eat here as she said they had a good range of food and reasonable prices. It was Thanksgiving Day evening but we got a table straight away. Not necessarily a positive sign. We were seated in a comfortable leather booth facing the big screen TV. We would have been happy with no TV but at least it was a ball game with the volume off. I like sport but conversation with my wife was the priority. The decor was fresh and clean and the bar had a vibrant water feature so very pleasing to the eye. But what about the food? I have to say there was a really wide range of food types. My wife chose candied salmon while I opted for chicken, broccoli and cheese with a mild curry spicing. I love curry and like it spicy but this milder version was very tasty and won me over immediately. The spinach and artichoke dip we shared was also really good. Portion size was generous too and service was attentive and friendly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. When the waitress asked us if everything was OK it really was! I was wary that this may be a 'jack of all trades' restaurant but I have to say I really liked it and will be back to try the chicken pie, or a burger, or maybe pasta or ......."

"Lunch. Food and server were excellent. However, young lady who brought our lunch meals took 15-20 minutes to bring a spoon for my elderly father’s soup, after being politely asked. Had to ask her a second time after 10 min while we all waited and our food got cold while this young lady chatted socially, endlessly, with next table who had already finished their meals. Eventually,after second request, spoon arrived."

"I'm a self proclaimed burger snob and Vera has been my lower mainland go-to burger joint for years. Fresh, made to order with lots of toppings and great combinations. They do it over flame as God intended. You can always taste the great beef. Go...on a Friday and you can order any of the daily combos at the special price. The fries and Onion Rings are top notch as well. What makes this even better for me is that the owner recognizes me (and I'm not in THAT often) and gets my order started while I am standing in line. Great service. It may be a chain, but it's run like a good local business"
