"Warm welcome..... End of. Long list of unavailable menu items. Long wait for service. Despite over email offers! Starters were just about ok. Main meal fish and chips was more than disappointing. Small cold portion of mushy peas. Cod was wet and soggy. Impossible to cut! It was tasteless. Just tasteless!!!!"

"Been in many times since CEJ first opened fab visit every time and never been disappointed. Food has always been amazing and never had a long wait. Atmosphere great too. Portions of food are massive, burgers are the biggest ever. I normally double up, but don't know if I could ever triple : Great staff, really friendly and attentive. Home delivery now coming online through Yetti Delivery as well. Sadly, we are just out of the catchment area for CEJ ; but fab anyway. Cheers all!!! :"

"If you are looking for good quality, large portions and large employees, you must come. The food was amazing! The view is also fabulous. Especially the chicken and jacket potatoes are the best! I'd come here every day if I could. 5 food."

"Don't be put off by the decor! The chefs are amazing, the meat is so tasty and perfectly cooked. I had the mixed grill, my family had burgers and we all said the same thing the flavour of the meat is just outstanding. Friendly service too, and if course the unique decor gives you plenty to look at and talk about! An essential visit if you're near torquay."
