"We came here for a post hike dinner. We wanted a big greasy burger that is exactly what we got. The ultimate burger came with cheddar, bacon and mushrooms. It was delish. The fries were thick cut and well seasoned. Poutine was great as well though no real curds. The service was quick and friendly. Oh yes and we had deep fried ice cream for dessert, a first for both of us and definitely not the last. They have the local Valemount craft brew beer on tap! All in all, suitable pub stop!"

"One hopes that places like this one would represent a "rustic" point of view, however, neglect is more accurate given the dated decor and worn out carpets and furniture. We were greeted and sat by a male who appeared to have been in the same golf shirt for the last several days. The waitress that took over provided average to good service, and clearly was the only one around to take orders, serve, bus and scrape plates in the kitchen. The Cobb salad that my wife ordered was fresh but more pricey than other like meals from other restaurants in the area that we had tried. I ordered a meat lover's pizza and it came out burned on the bottom, to which the waitress replied "Oh?" was responding to her question on the quality of the pizza.. The ingredients were lower quality as there was a layer of oil/fat from the sausage and pepperoni floating on the top. Upon paying the bill, I heard someone asking about water they had been charged for and the waitress responded something about a cover charge. I looked at my bill more closely (after having already paid), and saw a 4 dollar charge for two "lemon waters", which were simply tap water delivered in a beer mug. Seems to be a way to rip off customers. All in all, would I recommend this stop to a friend, no. This is more of a quantity over quality type of place that hopes to satisfy customers with a big bite of average food and poor setting than the experience other establishments offer in the area."

"Food portions are generous , fresh and appetizing. The service staff is polite , friendly and efficient, never waited for anything. Highly recommend by the Hotel we stayed at and we understand why. Great evening will be back on our next drive through or stay in town.Both of us shared the calamari to start and each of us ordered the lasagna with Greek salad as a main,all was fantastic."
