"Good Cheese Burgers just kinda cold. If you don't have a microwave handy you might wanna check the temperature of your food before you leave. Personally cold cool burgers are fine so long as the put a bit more of the condiments and pickles. One more pickle can really make a better burger as can another teaspoon of mustard and catsup. If one orders a DRY burger fine but if not make it right."

"Visited the Mesquite Pit for Saturday lunch. Ordered the Armadillo eggs (very tasty brisket stuffed fried jalapenos) to start, followed by st. Louis style ribs. Party also got chopped beef and pork chop. All the entrees were delicious. Of the sides, themashed potatoes, onion rings, and green beans were standouts. And the bread is delicious! Awesome atmosphere and huge portionswill not disappoint. 5/5 can't wait to return."

"I was greeted and seated with ease and smiles. I ordered the FOG Burger with garlic herb fries and they were both super tasty. The bun is house made and has a unique flavor. I could taste the seasoning in the meat patties and they were super juicy andflavorful. The fries were fresh with fresh herbs and garlic that you could actually taste. Definitely could tell that it wasn'tsomething out of a bottle they poured on the fries. Spoke with Grant, the owner and head chef at length and he's a great guywith a great story. Glad that I stopped by and I do plan to return."
