"We stayed at the B and B upstairs and the breakfast in the cafe was included. We could order anything from the broad menu and did try different things each of the 3 mornings we were there. The breakfasts are delicious and generous in quantity and the coffee was excellent. There is an outside patio in the sun and you are close to the water and can watch the float planes come and go from 2 airlines which are on either side of the restaurant. The location in Old Town is very cool as well. We recommend this strongly for breakfast. Good restaurant!"

"This cafe has a very old time to feel at it. with its wooden benches and tables to eat, there is a kind of family feeling. both my son and I had the bisonburger with fritten and salat. it was huge! and tasted amazing! jevin the cook has a great talent! that is a great stop on her traveling up there."

"I think the food is good- BUT- the chef is noisy and barky at his staff; and won't change a single thing -ie: no mayo or sauce on a burger isn't possible as "it compromises" the product. I've been in the restaurant on several occasions; including watching him yell at a server until she quit on the spot. Not a relaxing experience by any means. I've given it a fair shot, dining in about a dozen times, but haven't been back since the last time because the yelling made me so tense I couldn't finish my dinner.He has creative ideas, and obviously has vision for the food, but I don't go out for brunch or dinner to come home feeling stressed."

"When I first tried, this restaurant was 6 years ago, my last time in the last month. its food quality and its selection have dramatically improved, from the typical small city Chinese restaurant offers mainly smorgasbord to one that well compared with those in the big cities. the day we had lunch was so much to do: yet the food service was fast and a la carte dish delicious. bravo."

"Stopped in one afternoon after returning from two months at Plummers Lodge. Middle of week early lunch very quiet inside. Our server Tonya was great. I had a turkey club. It was OK. Nothing special. Turkey was a little tough. Side of poutine was nice. Meal was about $27 CAD so kinda pricey."

"We visited on a Monday night to take advantage of the $10 burger deal and were really happy with our choice.We walked in the door to find a packed venue with all kinds of people laughing, drinking and digging into delicious looking meals.Our friendly waitress found us a place to sit and we settled in for some local beers. I was particularly pleased as a coeliac to find gluten free beer on the menu! This joy was extended when I discovered that they also had gluten free burger buns. The waitress was actually very knowledgable about gluten free options.So for $10 each we each got a juicy beef burger with a side of chips or soup. A tasty and filling meal.We saw others eatin nachos, tacos and salads which all looked amazing.The modern rustic decor of the venue adds to the chilled out vibe. I highly recommend this place."
