"We had a very strange experience this evening. Reservations were made well in advance for 4 at 5pm. Restaurant is small indoors but also offers outdoor seating. I was seated indoors for 5 minutes before the rest of our group arrived. Throughout our meal, most of the tables were empty until 7-7:30. Even then, approximately 3-4 tables remained empty. From the time that our party arrived, our server was at our table literally every 5 minutes although I stated that we hadn't looked at the menus and weren't ready to order. (We were all well aware that the restaurant closed at 9. After being hounded multiple times, we placed our orders. The food arrived very timely and was very good! However, the server continued to rush us through our meal asking if we were ready for coffee before even finishing our meals. After finishing our meals, our server came to our table at least 4 times asking if we're ready for coffee and/or dessert. As stated the food was delicious but the service/treatment was uncalled for. "We love Passero and come here often! With a baby at home we don’t always have time to go to the city lately, so it’s nice to have a wonderful place like Passero around. It’s just as good, if not better than many Italian bistros in the city. All the food is fresh and lots of local goods. I like that the menu is seasonal and that some ingredients are repeated through the menu. The service is very good usually as well. Great selection of beers, wines and cocktails. It’s always busy so make a reservation and be prepared to wait even if you have one. We take our 7-month-old there for early lunches and they are always super friendly and helpful with kids! This is definitely one of our favorite suburban restaurants."
