"We chose Three Blue Ducks because we had not been to the Brisbane establishment and wanted a special occasion with friends we had not seen for many years. When we exited the elevator we were met with an overpowering sewage odour which wafted through the restaurant for the whole afternoon. We were told it was due to low tide on the river and I felt there should have been a plan B to mitigate the impact as it seemed to be a known problem. Three of our party ordered a glass of Australian bubbly and it was specified a number of times we only wanted three glasses. During the meal I suddenly became aware our glasses were being topped up and we had to pay for the bottle. The food and service quality was mixed and despite enjoying the company of our friends the restaurant experience was disappointing."

"Extensive and well curated wine list with some boutique-existing wineries and many Euro-Powerhouses. service is attentive and friendly. the cozy room complements the charm and the local atmosphere. the quail is excellent as the oktopus and the burrata. duck ragu or bug ravioli were delectable and went well with the offer of burgundy. this place is all that is good is over casual, contemporary European. I wish we had something in paddington. It can continue for a long time."

"We went to lunch and had a great time. the food was excellent and you could say that the products were fresh and of high quality. we shared some antipasti for entrees, the calamari with fennel salad (except fresh and tasty) polpette (meat balls in tomato sauce), baked mushrooms, burrata and arancini. I had the veranda for all that was delicious. my dining room partners have the ragu pasta, augenfilet and squid tinte gnocchi. everyone enjoyed their meal. the service was very professional and attentive, but not intrusive. a beautiful place to have a special lunch!"

"Menu over-promised and under-delivered. We both had the lamb dish which was small and only just warm. Fat on the lamb wasn't rendered. Miserable amount of vegetables accompanying. We would not eat here again."

"Family dinner here with 8 people. We all ordered different pizzas and ended up having to take some home. Flavours, ingredients and pizza bases were all great. Has been a while since I enjoyed a pizza so much. Staff are cheerful and very helpful when...describing the various dishes available, and food appeared without much delay. Seeing they have 2 dinner services I would presume they have a good reputation in the local area, and might need bookings. While not your typical italian restaraunt, and the décor is a little basic, I found very little I didnt like, and will return again."
