"THE best dining experience I have had in years. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner last night and we were totally blown away. Our server was a wonderful young lady who had a little bit of an accent (I want to say French but I could be wrong). She was charismatic and polite right off the hop, helping us with wine recommendations and featured items on the menu. We started with the Bacon Scallops and they were PERFECT. Moving onto the main course, my girlfriend had the lamb and I had the beef tenderloin. Both items came out in a timely manner and looked amazing. Now this is where my 5 star comes in; I cut into my steak and it was a little bit well done for my liking as I asked for it medium rare… I hate sending food back. It’s my least favourite thing to do as a server but our wonderful waitress would not let me take no for an answer. Within minutes I had a brand new plate of immaculately cooked steak and sides. I was blown away at the level of customer service. We were then treated to dessert by the restaurant for my partners birthday. 10/10 Food 20/10 Customer service Come here if you need a refreshing dining experience. I will be recommending to my friends and family with a sterling review. Thank you Blackshop"

"Superb patio spot! And with live music?!? Awesome. Food was decent. Get salad dressing on the side as it was soggy. And a little over cooked main. But guys, serving beer in plastic glasses????? That took it from a cool, classy joint to a cheap college pub vibe. Too bad."

"A great romantic spot in Cambridge. We decided to visit for their New Years special and it was very good. We had the yummy dual soup and crab cakes as the appetizer both very tasty and not huge portions. Dinner included beef tenderloin and mushroom...truffle rigatoni. Very rich in flavour. Dessert was a dark chocolate raspberry tart. Overall the quality of the food was worth the price. An excellent recommendation for a special night out."

"Went here for lunch on a Saturday, fairly crowded with a few weddings going on. I'd say you're mostly paying for the beautiful water view and the interior. Our server was friendly and checked in with us however, with a party of 8 it took around an hour for our food to come out, which is pretty long. I ordered the burger $22) and in my opinion it lacked flavour and the bun didn't go with the rest of the ingredients. Some of the fries were a little too hard as well. I would expect more given the price point. Others at my table got other meals however, their portions were smaller. Overall i'd visit mostly just for the view."
