"This was our first time at Sardellas Restaurant I was celebrating a very special Birthday Sardellas was highly recommended by the hotel we were staying at We were not impressed with the dishes we had ordered We had ordered two pasta dishes There was very little spaghetti and a lot of sauce So disappointed We ordered a salad with shrimp and eggplant both were fair at best Not a good first impression Unfortunately"

"Buffet was good, ordinary, but good. The price, however, of $50 per person was way, way too much for what was offered. Should have been about $30 to be a decent deal. Would not eat there again if the regular prices are anything like that. nice people though. clean too."

"I was very pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent. There is a mix of vegetarian and vegan food, along with nonveg dishes as well. The decor is pleasing and comfortable. The service is very good and friendly. I definitely recommend Lucia's."

"Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."

"Love all the rooms in Bar Board! I don't recall if there was ever music in the main bar room downstairs but it was noticeable that there was none... a nice bed of background music always helps the ambiance. Cheers! Brian McEwen"

"I found the entire experience of eating there to be delightful….the staff was very friendly and nice,the atmosphere was elegant and romantic.I wish there was more variety to the menu…but the food was tasty and presentation was great.I hope to return when I next visit Newport next month.The atmosphere of the hotel ,in which the restaurant is part of, is over the top elegant,extremely impressive and the experience as a whole makes for a very magical experience."

"Menu was very limited with very little seafood options and it is Newport. What we had was good however for the price the portions were small and $18 for a green salad is a bit much. Service was good, Martini's were not."
