"This Sonic has been great up until our last 2 visits. One being tonight, 1/15/22. We ordered 2 large waters and after one drink in each we felt something like a sandy texture in our mouths. We dumped the waters out to find some sort of yellow substance at the bottom. (See pics below). The visit before last we ordered a blast, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture thinking it was a fluke incident, but it seemed to be a piece of dirty paper towel that ended up in the blast. Luckily it wasn’t swallowed. I’m not sure if this is negligence or intentional but either way it should be resolved immediately. Sadly I can no longer trust this place as a safe place to eat or even simply get water from. Service has always been great but the quality and safety of even the water is now very concerning. I am posting this for people who continue to go so that they are aware and can look out for these sort of things. The last thing anyone needs is to become ill because of a water they ordered from sonic..."

"The service was absolutely fantastic and the ambiance was delightful! The food was definitely not outstanding, though. The seasoning was unbalanced (or missing), but there was a lot of food, so if you're just looking for fuel to keep you going, it's not bad!"

"I loved reading all the great reviews! I’m 73 yrs old and it’s probably been 67 years since I’ve been to Abilene. My Aunt Elvira (yes, Elvira) lived there. My immediate family moved to Albuquerque, NM when I was only two, but my mom and I would visit her every year until I was 17. I want to tell you that The Dixie Pig is engraved in my memory as a place that I loved and anticipated every year! I’m not sure what made you pop into my thoughts today, but I want to say Thank You! Do you sell any things with your name on them? Would love to order something. Thanks!"
