"Adelaide seems to have its fair share of Mexican food joints, but this one is just alright. To be fair, I have yet to find a restaurant in Australia that truly nails Mexican food, but this is only about a step above Taco Bell (not even Chipotle quality). The seasoning on the meat was a bit bland, and the rice and beans were uninspired. I found it odd that a meal included hot chips, rather than taco chips, but at least the seasoning on the chips (fries) was very good. Not bad, but still not the home away from home Mexican food I 've been looking for."

"There's nothing I love more than fresh, tasty, authentic food that's not an assault on your wallet and Burp ticks all of these boxes. Whenever I'm in Adelaide, I'll go to Burp for a burrito and I'm always impressed with the incredibly generous portion sizes, great tasting food, and friendly staff. This evening while I had the hankering for nacho's, I thought my best bet would be Burp... (I should mention I have a pet peeve for mediocre nachos, and I'm rarely impressed when ordering them in restaurants or Mexican take-out joints.) While not surprised, I received a heaping stack of tortilla chips layered with tasty slow-cooked beef, cheese, beans, and jalapenos. They also had enough sour cream and guac beside them to sink a battleship which wasn't an extra charge, because in all honesty who doesn't like generous toppings? I am totally delighted, satisfied and impressed. They are the best nachos at the lowest price I've ever had the pleasure of eating. While Burp has a good atmosphere, it is a bit of a hole in the wall, but that said you don't go for the decor."

"Went there for Sunday brunch today and ordered the buttermilk pancakes with flaked almond, passion fruit, strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup and a lemon whipped butter. My partner ordered the chicken burger with avocado and jalapeño aioli. The prices were reasonably cheap and the food came out quick. The chicken burger was pretty tasty, but the meat inside was a little on the thin side especially considering the thickness of the bun. The chips were decent, so overall a pretty solid meal apart from the thickness of the meat. <br>

The pancakes were fluffy and lightly flavored with vanilla. The combination of the fruits and fluffy lemon butter was nice, but I felt it could have done with a touch more butter and maple syrup as I was eating dry pancakes by the last 1/4 of my meal even after using the condiments conservatively.<br>

The cafe was very busy and the wait staff were all friendly. Couldn't fault the food too much, just the quantities of the good bits.<br>

"Pretty solid experience. This was our first time at a Zambrero but the portion size was a little off. I'd take only Lettuce while my sister took Lettuce and rice and yet we both got the same amount of Lettuce. Even the portion of the meat, could have been better. Still giving it 4 stars because we legitimately loved the freshness and flavor, but misses on the 5 because of what I mentioned."

"The food is great, we went back several times because it was that good. The quesadilla are just the right size for one person and the burritos are just fantastic. If you're anywhere near Hindley Street, pop in and order some great food, your money contributes to meals for those who have no food in countries like asia, africa and south america. "Favourite Mexican takeaway in Adelaide by far. There's something about Mad Mex that always brings me back maybe it's how they don't overdo their burritos with crazy fillings, or maybe it's how they perfect their quesadillas. It's quick, it's not messy and their customer service is pretty decent. I love Mad Mex."
