"The seats were fast to handle all sitting front and through windows to sit back. once sat, no one has accredited our group for quite a while until we requested support from another employee. Although this was not her territory, this member took interest and made himself available and took care of us (we never saw the hostess who should be responsible for our table. their efforts turned the tables, which should be an unpleasant visit to another tolerant. we didn't get the names of our new server, but she's a dark-brown young woman with long braided hair with a big one."

"If you are looking for a small, quant, cozy, coffee shop that is off the beaten path in Blue Springs, Scouts is the place to go. I ordered the GF sausage and pepper quiche with the snickerdoodle latte. The perfect way to start my day. There are several different rooms to sit in as well. Lovely staff and a awesome coffee selection."

"We loved it. Though I thought it was pricey for neighborhood Mexican food. ie, 11:00 noon while were there, there was only one other table occupied. Pricing could be an issue. I'll be back."

"The Zilantro calbreis was boiled to the point of the crunchy and the steak was chewing, fat and cold. 1/2 scoop pinto drill. it is mine once in the year “probing chipotle again”. it will be another year before I return to the blue springs location."

"8-2019 Disclaimer: our waiter was new and they were short handed in the kitchen. I think on another visit the stars would be higher. They were super friendly. We went to this restaurant after two separate people suggested it while we were filling up at a nearby gas station. One said the smothered burrito was his favorite. That is why we expected a Mexican restaurant but it is more of a cafe or home cooking place. The locals were loving all of it. We are from For Worth Tx and the dishes were just not what we were expecting. When they say red chili sauce they mean it. It was red chili. On the other hand the green chili sauce was not green or spicy. Also surprising was the fact the chips and salsa were fresh. The cook cut up and fry them, right then! Fresh! The Sopaillas are also made fresh."

"Prices have gone up. Condition of building, quality of food, and service has gone way down.Smells like a sewer backup in front. Front doors sticking because floor is pushing up. Overall condition of the inside is deteriorating. Order came out complete wrong mixed up transposed every part of an order (eggs, meat, potatoes, pancakes) not much to get wrong. Then brought food out in stages after correcting while rest of party was finished by the time my complete order was out. Been long time customer the building and service continue to decline while prices go up. Making it difficult to continuing to being a customer."
