"Couldn't find the section to just review their inside taco shop but here goes anyways:Ordered a carne asada and a adobada burrito. Pricing goes a little higher than $8 which is a little oof. But being a frequent tortilla buyer here I decided to give them a shot. The taste was nice but the meat felt pre-prepared. Chewy and a bit gristle-soaked from sitting in the ready bin (I assume). The tortilla tasted nice, and honestly was the star of the show. Unfortunately for Esperanza. . . I don't seek out taco shops for the tortilla. Pass for me. I'll stick to their tortillas and that awesome chicharron con carne (non-taco shop)"

"They have the absolute best Mexican food in Escondido!!! There's a couple of restaurants here and they are top of my list. My favorite meal there is the Carne Asada supreme quesadilla, they have quacamole, sour cream, beans, cheese, and what ever meat of your choice chicken, beef, or Carne asada). Their meat taste fresh and not salty like most Mexican restaurants. Their California burritos and Carne asada fries are awesome. They taste amazing and have fresh tasting vegetables too. Their fries are a little crisper than most so you won't get soggy watery fries with no taste. I was depressed that they weren't open on 4th of July : I'm so depressed about it that tomorrow morning I'm going to have to get two orders of burritos to fulfill my need. I give this place 5+ stars."

"Burrito Supreme is very good. The sauce is very good. El rancho has good burrito i put both up there together. But the burro and fries is terrible. The only thing I notice is lady has no social skills. Needs to be friendly."

"The whole menu is vegan, which is one of my favorite things ever. I got the Sandwich de Jack , which was a Chipotle BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich with some vegan mayo, pickled onions, some sort of slaw...just amazing. And it came with these tasty potatoes on the side which just fall apart in your mouth. I also got the Potato Tacos, which were like rolled, deep fried tortillas filled with potato and topped with some lettuce and stuff. Very good. They had two salsas they make themselves (both awesome, but I went for the green cause the dude cooking up all this great food said it was the spicier one) and some pickled red onion. Super friendly duo working the booth when we went (At the Oceanside Sunset Market). All around great experience."
