"Party of 6 including 2 kids and we really enjoyed the food and service. 5 of us had wings and one had a burrito with a Caesar salad. We also shared an order of onion rings. The wings were really good and meaty, fries and rings were quite good as well. The Chorizo burrito and Caesar were very good- very fresh and the dressing was homemade. Our server was fantastic. Friendly and funny and very nice to the kids. We will definitely return! Glad we found this place. We didn't realize there is parking in behind as the building is hidden down a lane off King Street. We found spots on the street but it's good to know for next time if we go at a busier time. Truly a hidden gem!"

"One of the best Mexican food compounds in big jump. my friend turned me to this place. She liked to remember when she was a child visiting her family. I love their guacamole! not added a buck of unwanted extras, only a predominant garlic taste without being overwhelming. this is just the highlight. all her food is great too. very tex mex if you want that."

"Walked in and was greeted first 30 seconds and got to sit at the bar.Our waitress had an attitude immediately and was rushing us to get our drinks and took 5 mins for a beer, while sitting at the bar witnessed another waitress taking shots from behind the bar and doing shots with other parton's, in 75% certain she was buzzed/waisted.Food was horrible, chicken was dry with no seasoning and refried beans looked like baby mush and the rice was hard and flavourless, I instead seasoned my own food with salt and pepper.Floor had bits of food all across, pointed it out to first waitress and she scoffed and walked away.The only good person in their was the legitimate bartender who checked in on us and was the one that gave us chips.I hope that people look at this review before going to this place, the food isn't worth the price and I wouldn't recommend going to this Mexican restaurant, their is much higher quality for a semi better price."

"Growing up in the Permian Basin and when I'm back there, I always do a point to stop the Taco Villa on the way out and load the wonderful Noms home and freeze with me and enjoy until my next trip in Midland/Odessa. This last trip I held in the Andrews Hwy (and Wall) location on my way out of town. It was at noon on Monday after Father's Day and they were blunt. I ordered a 6-pack each of Combo Burritos, Tacos and Beans Burritos, plus a sequence of Nacho-Fries and a single Combo Burrito for the street. Not only did the people wrap the line all my Burritos in tin foil (I told them I would freeze them and they volunteer), but they de-constructed the tacos so that they would not get home on the long journey! When we couldn't locate the individual Combo Burrito in the order, they quickly made me another with zero complaints while they were rushing in the weeds with lunch. Man, I miss this home town well-being food and the small city customer service we receive every time we visit Taco Villa."

"How I miss their food! I live in Odessa but sometimes have to sneak out to the Carreta lol.. this food is TRUE Mexican food, very similar to how I was raised eating and cooking. I love the asado, red enchiladas and their salsa I'm certain all else on menu is just as good Eduardo(man taking orders) and his wife(the cook) La Gran Señora are the sweetest! Blessings"
