"Today was my first trip to Tequila Grill in Ottumwa, Iowa. I ate my daughter in law, Sierra. She was there before and wanted me to try. I don't often get to the big city, I prefer small towns. I'll make a trip sometime to eat here again, even though I'm an hour away. We were hit at the door by a clean, well maintained, smiling waiter. I felt welcome right away. He brought chips and salsa with menus immediately. The only thing I could recommend is that they need some new menus, they were seasoned very well by their many customers. We ordered a Burrito and Fajitas. Within 10 minutes of the order we had warm food before us. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The waiter was attentive, but not overlaid, even in the first noon. I must say I haven't seen a waiter for so long. All my needs have been met and questions on the menu answered. I liked the openness of the restaurant and the casual furnishings. The prices on the menu were very reasonable so that everyone could afford a nice meal. I also enjoyed the Mexican music I was whipped into. That would be a great place to hang out. I would call it one of my favorites."

"This place is amazing. I ate here a few times to eat both. To date, I have tried the Steak Chimichanga, the surfers and turf riders and the pastor Burrito. It was all delicious. I think I enjoyed the pastor Burrito the most. The surf and lawn friars are also delicious. Steak Chimichanga was the first thing I tried after a friend's recommendation. It was good, but Chimis aren't really my thing. I highly recommend that you be inclined against chimichangas. You should visit this place at 100%, but only if you want to support small businesses with delicious food and cheap prices."

"What an amazing experience! First time customer and it was no let down. Great staff, tasty food, and the espresso latte is DELICIOUS. Peaceful atmosphere. Books to read. They even seem to have a loyal customer base, which is always delightfulto see and is a great sign. My food reccomendation: Bacon breakfast burrito with pepper jack cheese and avocado toast onwheat. The food is so filling you won't be able to finish both, even though it's so delicious you want to. Edit Remarks: Toadd: How convient is it that it's across from the mechanic shop? If you're anything like me and fall behind schedule sometimes,grabbing a bite in a relaxing and calm environment while your car is being worked on is a Win Win situation."

"I really wanted to give this place more stars, because their horchata was pretty darn good. The elote tasted and looked like canned corn. I haven't had much elote, but from my experience it's better on the cobb and I had different seasoning. (Both, my wife ordered) My dish had a lot of cilantro on it, I guess it's not what I was expecting. In their defense it also had what was probably over a pound of chicken? I couldn't really taste the chicken, but it looked good."
