"I was disappointed in the service. I brought my dog with me because she doesn’t like being lonely, so I always have her in a little bag. She doesn’t make any noise. One of the waitresses approached us and asked if it was a service dog and we said no. Other restaurants are ok with our dog because she is quiet and in her bag but these waitresses just made a big deal about it. Now let’s talk about the menu… there are no physical menus you have to scan your phone to see the menu. What if travelers don’t have time to charge their phone until they get to a hotel, or leave their phone at a hotel or inn? The waitresses said they don’t have any physical menus so that was that. So, I scanned the menu, I was confused because it seemed more like they were introducing themselves until I realized the words that were in a single font single regular color (black) were actually the things on the menu. No color other than black and red and a bit of green and a bit of white just plain 1 or 2 pictures and just single items like chicken and carne asada and so on but it didn’t say what it had or anything like that. I am having a hard time describing the menu because there wasn’t much on it to describe. When we entered the building it was really pretty but it seemed like the building was prettied up to distract you from the things that were on the menu. The things on the menu looked simple it didn’t really look appetizing or anything it looked plain and simple. Overall, I was very disappointed because I thought the place would be a lot more full. The only people there, was an old couple at the very end on the opposite side of the entrance and the other lady that was sitting was the waitress. She just said to sit wherever we felt like. I have had experience as a waitress and when they trained me they said to never say “sit wherever you want” or something along the lines of that, unless you are going to follow them with the menus, but she was busy rolling napkins and utensils and she just waved us off by saying sit wherever you want. Then to get our drinks it took her a while to get to us. She delivered the drinks before she gave us some chips and salsa. In the end, we didn’t have to pay for anything. I just think maybe if they added some pictures or describe the items on the menu (and had physical menus) I might have ordered something. I was just very disappointed the tables and everything looked unused and you could tell when a restaurant is newly built but this restaurant seemed like it had been there for a while but the things inside like the seats were just unused. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that it looked spacious but the tables and the seats were so crowded. It was just really uncomfortable to sit."

"Visiting Patterson, California, and stopped by Ernie's taqueria. My son and I were amazed by the customer service they provided. everyone that walked in was greeted by their name. Their food was delicious (especially the tacos de cabeza) and service was quick. As certified Mexicans, this place was incredible!"

"The bread was good. The mermaid water cocktail was good. Staff was okay; it took a long time to get a glass of water, and subsequent refills. The strange brown vinaigrette stuff that came with the bread was quite unusual. The ravioli app wasn 't bad, but the bruschetta was floppy pieces of bread (not crisp toast as it should be) topped with lightly grilled bell pepper and onion, with balsamic vinaigrette. The fettuccine alfredo was probably the worst I have ever had. It came with steamed brocolli that was so moist and mushy it seemed more like over boiled broccolli and it seemed as if they threw the brocolli, along with all the water that it was cooked in, into the alfredo sauce, as it was so watery and not at all creamy. The alfredo did not taste like cream, or like parmesan, I dont know how to describe it other than blah, and the fettucine was overcooked. The waitress asked if I needed a box, and I said no, and she asked if I disliked it, so I let her know how bad it was. They dont seem to really care though. It was $70 for 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks. The music was good though, 2 guys singing and playing guitar, mostly country music."
