"Wildflour is a really beautiful, refined local bakery café. there are art (probably from local artists on the walls, tables distributed around a loft like room, a small ess counter, and a double bakery case filled with really beautiful cake. (sadly, none of the cakes or other desserts are vegan. and while the menu is not specifically vegetarian or vegan options, there are some, and even more can be made veg/ vegan with a few adjustments (from the cheese/odor cream, etc. what they like to do if they ask. we also discovered that an item where cheese was not listed as an ingredient of the menu was actually added, so safe to mention, specifically what they do not want to contain in their court. on the bright side, the actual eating is quite delicious. we had gazpacho, rice beans (minus of the cheese and a tostada (minus of the cheese and a side of brokkoli (not on the menu.) fortunately eating is not oily, greasy or oversalted (also harder to find than veg*an options in our experience! so, while this is not a traditional veg/vegan friendly place I would definitely come back."

"In the historic city market area of Roanoke, Alejandro’s is a quaint offering that does not disappoint! I enjoyed the Guajas Burrito (chicken) which was served hot from the kitchen and was extremely flavorful and filling. Be sure to take advantage of the salsa bar that has a plethora of options, but beware—when they say hot, you should be prepared for hot. Not a complaint by any means. Great little place to eat in a really cool area to visit. Would definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike."

"The waiting staff was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food was well portioned. For the area, it seems a little expensive, but you get what you pay. This would be a good place for a dinner date, not loud compared to other Mexican restaurants. They have terrace seats, but we used the stand."

"Stores hours say closing is at 10:00. This evening they were ignoring delivery guys at 9:15 and started cleaning up at 9:20. They locked the doors at 9:30 even though they had food. They said they ran out of tortillas. The staff were making food for themselves at 9:34. Hope I can take this review down after they consistently stay open during their posted hours and provide good service."
