"We recently moved to the Illinois side of the quad cities and are looking for a new place for Mexican food. This restaurant is three minutes away from me, so we decided to try it. I'm so glad I made it! We ordered two taco salads and a taco combo. The Taco salads are where the bowl is the bowl man it was good! The bowl was light and airy and the ingredients were fresh and delicious! I had grounded beef and my husband had a chicken in his, but you can get everything you want. They were amazing. I took the Taco combo for lunch the next day and I loved Freakin too. I got ground beef and it came with fried beans and rice I usually don't like fried beans, but these were really good and so was the rice, fluffy and tasteful. It also comes with two different sauces a red one green and they were amazing too lightly spicy I really dug it! I'll be back soon, I recommend it!"

"This place has almost always great food. Portion sizes are also beautiful. The service was unusually bad. Forgotten beverages, non-existent refills, waiters who carry on the loss of popular tickets. It was an afternoon and not busy. Maybe 3 more guests. 4 waiting staff, some just talk to the guests at the bar. Based on food alone, I would give this place another try. We can't get excited anymore. I can refill my own drinks quickly and frequently and do not have to pay this 20% tip."

"Horrible experience had to beg for drink refills food was cold.. had ask for our checks over and over. The 1st waitress was rude the second one tried but seemed confused on what was going on and like she had no clue. I would not recommend especially if you have a large group,because night before we were there with a large group and they forgot several people meals and meat up others."
