"I am severely allergic to wheat and this is the only restaurant I 've felt completely safe in. Literally haven 't eaten out in years and I almost cried after chatting with the chef about their protocols. When I order, they change gloves, use separate pans and make sure there isn 't any cross contamination without even being asked. They actually have a 'celiac ' button on the POS system so everyone in the kitchen sees a red warning on the order slip. Plus they put a little GF toothpick in the food so you know it 's safe. The food is phenomenal and you can get almost anything gluten free. My favorites are the burgers, chicken tenders and falafel. My husband is partial to the buffalo chicken burger. The fryer is gluten free, so fries are always safe (and very tasty . It 's great food at a very reasonable price for the quality and huge portions. It 's well worth the 45 minute drive to grab takeout. "Totally awesome deli in Stowe. Great prices and good food, as well as local food and delicious desserts! On one of my first days in Stowe I got such a delicious and affordable frying sandwich that I came back and got twice one! You make it right in front of you, really fast while you are shopping, so you can ask them what you want, like extra horseradish or whatever. There is a picnic table outside and people eat lunch and drink there all the time, but it was never packed or crazy like most restaurants down in Stowe right. All three people who worked the register were amazing and cool. Great deal! Go here for a Dope sandwich at a good price and skip the lines down on the mountain road!"

"Great breakfast stop on the way to the mountain. Good portions for the price. My crepe might have been a little undercooked but I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. Not very busy for a Saturday am compared to other breakfast stops but a lot of people come for takeaway. Offers brunch cocktails and a full espresso bar. I would highly recommend if you're in Stowe!"

"Love Vermont, skiing and the grateful dead. Was in town for the former and stumbled into the ladder at the nail. It was awsome show and a great venue. Bar staff was pleasant and made quick with the sauce. Great dance floor for getting it going and a balcony for chilling..."
