"The place was cleaned and the servers were attentive to my needs and requests. My question was that the white rice was muddy and had a very strong acidic taste that exaggerated everything else. The taste and season were very unbalanced and not pleasant."

"My husband and I left our honeymoon in Mentone and decided to check HappyCow to find a place for lunch on the way home. The vineyard was not on the way, but looked too promising not to go. So we went to the little town of Summerville. I was a little worried because the city is so small, it didn't seem like it had a vegetarian connection. I was happy to be wrong! This place is usually vegan (used honey in some recipes, so if you don't eat honey to ask safely! and vegetarian. I had the Summervillian cheese steak and was very impressed by the spices and the quality of the Cashew cheese. My husband had the Tofu Burrito and immediately asked if I could try to make Tofu eggs at home. We both tried and astounded the freshly pressed juices. Even the ketchup is fresh. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner met a nice conversation with us. It is very clean and very affordable as well. We have 2 juices, 2 ducks, 2 smoothies and 2 ducks to go under $50! I recommend this for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. We'll definitely get back home by the hour of the car."

"Neighborhood restaurant with a truly southern flair; definitely a meeting place for old friends. Found this place by accident and my wife after reading the menu can't waite to go back. Food was great. Buffalo chicken sandwiches were spicy and the waffles were light and fluffy. The country fried steak Benedict was very rich with Hollandaise sauce and sausage gravy. Sitting on a bed of greens with a perfect biscuit this meal was big enough for two. Friendly staff that always had a big smile helped put a smile on your face. Looking forward to our next visit."
