"I placed an order online at 12:15pm on Friday, April 29th. When I went to go pick up and pay for it it was not ready and I got notified it would be ready for 12:30pm. I waited for half an hour still not ready. Once I received the tacos they were super soggy and fell apart (see picture I had to use my hands to scoop and eat the filling, should've grabbed a fork! . Customer service was not good at all either. I went to the Downtown location. I honestly would appreciate a refund at this rate due to the tardiness, sogginess and the customer service I received. Thanks."

"A great Sunday brunch place went last Sunday with a friend there was a long line up with about a 30 minute wait around 10amish. Many tables in a space that really packs people in but there's enough noise so you feel you have some privacy of conversation. I had the Salmon eggs Benny with fruit which was delicious. Fruit was a bit on the sorry side but I imagine it's hard to keep totally fresh with so many people going through there. Avoid the corn beef hash which is pulverized corn beef and looks gross and unappetizing. Extensive menu with lots of benny choices. I will be going back."

"Walked to this breakfast spot. You order before you sit down. We waited while three people ordered in front of us. When they left, we stepped up and the two waitresses virtually ignored us and walked by us several times with not even a smile...or a good morning. In these COVID times, when business has been slow you would think cafes would welcome visitors. We grew tired of waiting and left. I would not recommend this place. It is small and unfriendly."

"It may be a bit hidden, but it's worth a taste. Yummy tortilla soup. Horchata drink was a delicious surprise. And the burritos were huge, fresh, and delicious. Great veggie burrito. Refried beans here are near perfect. Owners are really sweet people. Been here a few times now."

"First time visitor and really satisfied! So many options and I was happy with my local homemade burger (and I’m picky about my burgers). The cinnamon bun was also delish. Can’t wait to go back, probably before noon to beat the huge rush."

"Was excited to try this place due to the reviews. food was ok. we got one veggie dish and one chicken dish to go. found the food to be VERY bland; no seasonings, no spice. unfortunately we were staying at a hotel and had no way to get some hot sauce, salt or pepper to give a little 'life' to the meals. it was disappointing to find the food so bland, usually mexican food is full of spice and flavour but not this time. overall the food was ok, price was ok. nothing exceptional. wouldn't go back."

"My wife and I decided to try this little place, just off the 'Cook St. Village' area in Victoria. What a surprisingly great find, we felt like we were on holidays in Mexico. The music and atmosphere contributed to our experience greatly but the food was amazing.Everything home made and from scratch, even the tortilla chips. Original twists like homemade Chipotle aioli, and mango honey drizzled over the nachos, homemade salsa and guacamole better than any I've in or outside of Mexico.The chef works in a traditional small area with flames rising high from the grill and if you ask him about the food he says they have even more special things to try that are not on the menu next time we come. It's a bit hard to find, seating is limited but it's well worth a visit, you'll be glad you did. We didn't have enough room to try everything we wanted to try, so we got a couple of takeout items for later, fantastic for take out too."
