"In the family since 1932, and a pit stop for the Baja 1000 for 50 years. We had supper and breakfast there while staying over in El Rosario in the middle of a road trip through Baja California. Nothing fancy, but a very clean and very friendly place and with good food at the end of a long day on the road."

"This restaurant has been in mexicali for over 15 years. my favorites are the torta yucatan sencilla and the quesadillas con carne. they must be hungry when they come to this colorful place. if they don't like tweeting, tomato, avocado or any of...the ingredients on their eating, they just tell the server and they'll prepare the eating exactly as they want it. for drinks they have so, jamaika, horchata and tee. the drinks are really good, their jamaika is too sweet for me, but nothing they can not repair with some water. they also have burritos, tostadas, french, salate, thorny rings and fries. her place is fully cooled and ready for the mexicali weather. her personal is a team of young people who know how to treat their customers. a huge plus is that they deliver or they can call and pick up their food. I have visited them for many years and if they like Mexican food that tastes like it was made home, this is the place to visit."

"Not sure if it is open 24 hours a day. but it is safe late open! used to have a 50's style running gear in. now table service of excellent Mexican dishes. I've been on my way for 30 years or more. not much of. a family type place particularly late in the night. more of a man's spot. not the best place in the city to bring them woman late in the night. Maybe they see someone they know with their other woman! (hallo)"

"I don't have much experience with tacos in mexiko. but as far as I could say, these are authentic, fresh and above-average tacos. for an American like me, they're pretty cheap. for native I say that this is on the more expensive side. (for tacos.) but for me it was good. they don't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. but it doesn't matter, they can order what they want."
