"Wir waren vor ein paar Monaten zum ersten Mal hier essen und es war tatsächlich mit unter das schlechteste Essen, das ich in einem Restaurant je bekommen habe. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Nachos mit Avocado Dip, hier gab es wenig schmackhafte Nachos aus der Tüte mit einem grünem Fertig-Dip aus der Flasche (ob es sich hierbei um Avocado gehandelt hat kann ich nicht sagen.) Als Hauptgang hatten wir Spare Ribs, die zu trocken waren und wenig Fleisch hatten. Außerdem einen Burrito, der grauenhaft geschmeckt hat, schon alleine durch die eingerollten Salatgurken Stückchen. Von mexikanischem Essen kann nicht im entferntesten die Rede sein. Die Tacos waren halbwegs essbar, sonst war mehr oder wenig das gesamte Essen nahe dem ungenießbaren. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass es nicht geschmeckt hätte, wurde beim Abräumen der halbvollen Teller nicht weiter eingegangen. Wir werden nie mehr dort essen. Sehr schade!"

"My benchmark for Mexican food is probably a bit higher since my husband is Mexican and we visit family often there, but I thought the food was mediocre. Tacos were ok, and burritos used a generic grocery store wrap. There’s only one hot sauce (Valentina) in the restaurant as well. The atmosphere of the actual restaurant is cosy, but the food was okay at best."

"This place is great! we have never expected this authentic Mexican restaurant in Germany! in previous travel to Germany such experiences have fallen very short. Crazy nate felt like foot in a really cool Taco shop they would find on the beach. in Southern California, and when we met nate, we now know why. he is out of that region and it turns out that his elders (or in the put) live in la bufadora, bc~ a place where I competed and won a chili chef from eating, the ambiente and the mood here are spot on!"

"Right next to the eastern exit of Rennweg U-Bahn station, El Mexicano is easy to get to, even from Nuremberg center. Outdoor seating on a large terrace. Indoor decorated in Mexican style, and is even sporting a little pond in the middle, complete with fishes....Main courses are 9 20 (most around 11 There's a few vegetarian dishes on the menu, like salads and burritos with vegetarian filling. Smoking is allowed on the terrace. The food was a positive surprise. I normally do not put a lot of faith in places that seem to have paid the interior decorator more than the Chef. But what I got was really very tasteful and well prepared. Although the menu is the typical dishes adopted to European taste, they do it quite well. I found it well worth it dining at El Mexicano. Even if it must be admitted, that they didn't really earn any points for service, on the evening I was there."
