"Very bad service the first minutes we sat down the man name Mario said you need to order all in a same time because we have a large order to work on , so we did we were 5 peoples the food were horrible no flavor just a lemon and salt for the price Very expensive and the amount of food Very little I personally order crabmeat for 300 pesos a plate and was very salty and no flavor at all beside we put me to work he was passing the food to me and the drink and I was delivering to the people on the table and him standing in a same spot .Very bad attitude when in time to pay said just cash no credit.card in a bad way with a wrinkle receipt and ugly hand writing end up paying 2500 pesos and we were still hungry I do not recommended at all."

"Cervezcal is a wonderfully quaint restaurant/bar, with great food at very reasonable prices and the best selection of micro brews and mezcal in town. Their fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had, including while living on the Oaxacan coast! The staff is competent and friendly and they often have live music. If you ever get a chance to see a woman sing named Billie Rose, it's a treat! Since they are dedicated to mezcal, they have a strong connection with Oaxaca, and you can find fried grasshoppers (chapulines), traditional in Oaxaca, as bar food. A great mix of excellent hand-crafted potent potables, great food and a delightful environment!!"

"We ate here last year several times during a month long visit. We came back this year because the service and food are terrific. We have been here three times in one week. I had the spinach and mushroom quesadilla which is one of my...favorite dishes here. The quesadilla is filled with sauteed onions, bell peppers, spinach, mushroom.and cheese. There is a side of guacamole and pico de gaia .I could have split it with my husband it was so filling. For dinner I tried the trout after reading the reviews. I almost licked my plate. Even the rice was delicious with some butter and herbs. This restaurant is owned by a sweet couple and they have been here for 21 years we learned today. Two years ago another restaurant opened on Acha San Antonio with the same name. There is no connection between the two restaurants so make sure you go to the one on Refugio Norte 7."
