"The welcoming staff were very pleasant and efficient. We ordered our meals. My husbands entree came very quickly, followed by our main meals. I understand chips are hard to come by at the moment but there is no excuse for serving burnt and damaged chips. Mine was absolutely disgusting. The 'salad ' on our plates was just a lettuce mix, no thing else. Very disappointing. My steak was just beautiful but the rest of the meal was well below standard. Disapponted!"

"We have had many Indian meals all over Australia and keep coming back to Bombay Wala East Ballina. 2 garlic naan, palak paneer (medium) Butter chicken (hot), pea pulav, do your self a favour,get this! Oh and the owners are lovely too."

"Very impressed, the flavours all seem clean and from real discernible sources, the butter chicken I feel like I could taste pear or apple, like the sweetness is derived from fruits and not just outright sugars. The lamb we had was also cooked perfectly, nice and tender and good real flavour. Feel much cleaner after eating than any indian I've tried around. Highly recommend."
