"For years we have been coming back to this restaurant at Zionskirchplatz.The restaurant is very good to reach by tram (stop zionskirchplatz,) which holds right in front of the house door.The offer includes a very cheap daily ticket (soup rice dish about 7 €) as well as various Indian dishes (also from the Tandoori oven).The service was always good, fast and friendly."

"Unfortuately, this little restaurant is not on the main pedestrian strip so is easily overlooked. However, once you've found it, you'll be delighted with the friendly, smiling and charming conversations to be had with the waiter. I felt like I was back in India. We had the Malai Kofta and Honeymoon Chicken which were delicious and there are many dishes to choose from, in fact 150 items on the menu. One naan, 2 mains and 3 beverages cost us 25 euro, which we thought was indeed reasonable. I'll be popping in again next week. Shiwa can be reached from Möckernbrücke or Mehringdamm U:bahn stations - 10 minute walk from each."
