"I visited Pind Kebab Curry Restaurant located at 55A Broadway Hicksville, NY 11801, right under the train tracks for the first time in years, last Friday. I visited Pind many years ago with an Indian friend who taught me all the best things to eat. Thankfully, she introduced me to RasMalai, which is a popular East Indian dessert made with milk, cheese, sugar, spices, and rose water. From time to time I absolutely crave it ???? Pind has an awesome rasmalai. I ordered their freshly made roti or Naan, Kebabs and you guessed it, Rasmalai! The owner who was so nice, told me that Pind meant Village and that Pind Restaurant was serving traditional Indian Village food. She also educated me on the artist that made the hand-painted mural on the wall. She said people always ask about the Painter but She hasn 't been able to find Him. She went through the pictures explaining the people depicted, their lives and what their jobs were. There is another Indian way of life picture of beautifully adorned women seemingly dancing around outdoors. She explained these women lived in the Palace and are Royalty. The ambience is also regal. Pind is dimmly lit and intimate. The music playing at a nice volume is Indian, transporting you along with the decor to the Pind . They also have a beautiful outside seating area that looks great at night with lights all over. Pind Indian Restaurant is open late and closed between 3-5pm. They open at 12pm-3pm 5pm-11pm Monday-Sunday. They deliver with Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Doordash. You could order Takeout or Dine-in or use Outdoor Seating. "Excellent food and service! I visited with my husband for the first time on Saturday evening, he loves Indian food and we were so happy we discovered it! It's located in a strip mall in Hicksville. The place was casual, quaint and the lady I believe is the owner, is very friendly and sweet, as well attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the veggie appetizer platter which is an assortment of fritters, samosa, aloo tikki and paneer pakora, vegetable pakora. We also ordered the Rice Polao which is Basmati rice cooked with peas and mild spices and Garlic Naan Bread layered with garlic, sooo delicious. For the main course I ordered the Shrimp Masala which was perfect and not too spicy as I requested and my Hubby had Navratan Korma which is a lovely dish of Mixed vegetables cooked with mild curry cashew nut sauce. All were terrific. The best part was the delicious rice pudding dessert. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!"

"All on top is $4 more than the restaurant price that makes it a demolition. The mixed vegetable dish is frozen peas, carrots corn, beans some potatoes. Not much chicken in the Tikka Masala. When I picked up the food, I was ignored. The biggest problem is the naan that had glued on him burned ash. Last experience was good this time."
