"Wrong place if you are looking for authentic Indian foods, especially curries. Most of the curries got the similar tomato base and taste. We tried lamb Rogan josh and chicken Balti. There were no difference in the sauce they made. Just tomato paste all over it. We were travelling from England and when compared to some authentic restaurants over there Lasan was poor in authentic taste. Just one piece of advice know the guests and customize the dishes accordingly."

"We went there as a family, and have been very impressed by the quality of food and staff in the restaurant. The staff was lovely and very attentive they made sure we were comfortable at all times. We ordered prawns and ‘mixed meats/fish’ curries....The food was the best Indian food we have eaten for years! The prawns were big, moist and perfectly cooked, the mix of spices (in our different curries) wonderfully aromatic, and curries were made on the ‘less spicy side’ for the kids (they woofed it). Highly recommended this is a gem."

"Amazing meal at the Seafield Arms. Good sized portions and delicious food. The service was fabulous and our waiter went out his way to make my Uncles birthday more special with the little touches added to his plate and the malt of his choice on...the house. Would highly recommend."

"First class service. This was our second visit while visiting the area and on both occasions we have no complaint and plenty of praise. We chose to sit in rather than take out and the haddock and Scampi was first class. The batter on the haddock was light and ‘dry’. Would recommend to anyone visiting Banchory and like s ‘fish supper’"
