"We were directed here by a local and had yet to realize we were in for a treat. The restaurant overlooks the lagoon side of town and where there hold the racing regattas when taking place. We thought it was so afire in price and tasty that we returned twice in 3 days On both occasions I had flounder once with garlic type sauce and the other time with a sauce Veracruz which was fabulous My wife had the flounder in butter and lime and it was terrific as well Our friend had conch fritters and they also were great. I would definitely recommend going because the staff were top notch the food wonderful and the price very reasonable Enjoy"

"I happen to know Arturo Garcia, and have worked with him on projects past. I can honestly say, this young chef has an eye for detail and taste. Everything I have ever tried of his, has been top quality and without compromise.His small bakery is well planed and organized, elements that are reflected in his baking skills, as a Paris France trained chef.But enough about this young chef, and lets talk bread and pastries. This bakery is by far the best bakery in Coyoacan Mexico, and quite possibly in Mexico City D.F. The textures are true, and the density and flavors of all of his products show care and skill in preparation. The Chocolate Conchas are to die for. The balance of butter and chocolate send your mind to another place.The French Croissant are air light with an intense flavor of butter, balanced with the crunch of the outer crust. Words can simply not describe this experience of this traditional French bread, a must try on your first visit.His artisan breads with a variety of mixtures are always a crowd pleaser. He works with the actual farmers of wheat in order to creat his special artisan blends. The deserts and other pastries are all top notch. The coffee, especially the Flat White, will focus your mind and get your day started with energy and purpose. You can feel the coffee working in your brain, that is no exaggeration. With all of this said, the next time you are looking for a fresh and genuine experience, stop by Bakers and prepare to redefine what good bread and pastries taste like."
