"Wow, what an experience! My wife and I drove in from the Cleveland area for a day trip to Ashtabula Harbor and had an early dinner at Fitzgerald's. No disappointments here. We absolutely loved everything. For our entrees I enjoyed the sea bass while my wife had the pistachio crusted the salmon. Both were excellent. We had a nice conversation with the chef owner Deborah I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning on our next trip."

"Honestly, it's worth more than 4 stars, but the limited beer selection (3 of 5 are IPAs, of which I'm not a fan is worth a half-point for a brewery. Interesting selection of brews with a larger-than-expected selection of ciders. The pilsner was good and crisp, actually halfway between a traditional pilsner and a lager (less bitter . The soft pretzels were some of the best I've ever had. The wife preferred the mustard dip (flavorful with mustard seeds ; I preferred the cheese dip (again, one of the best I've had which the wife said it reminded her too much of Swiss cheese (which is my favorite and her least favorite ... may explain the preferences. It's definitely worth the stop."
