"While this restaurant looked good from the street and had an appealing menu, everything else was a big disappointment. Even though my wife and I were here for Saturday lunch and the place was somewhat busy, there was no excuse for the slow service we...experienced. We waited over minutes for our starter of oysters to arrive and that was after a long wait for someone to take our order. My wife ordered entrecote cooked rare with rice and she was given a well done steak with French fries. When my wife later complained to the waitress at the time she was taking our dessert order, the waitress said that my wife should have spoken up earlier, but my wife was unable to get her attention earlier and would have had a long wait for her meal. The Magret de Canard that I had was unremarkable. We have been in France for over a month and this was only the second meal that we did not enjoy."

"That was a beautiful foundation in auray. it is a small restaurant right on the promenade of franklin quai, with a beautiful view of the river hole and the boats dug there. we had a light lunch of their moules et frites. the muddles were excellent as well as everywhere we had them. a good part to a reasonable price with very friendly and accommodating staff. the crepe de bretange, its specificity, made with apples and carmelized sauce and picked cream was a joy. they tolerated my abyss franzosen with good humor, and clarified in English only if necessary. the promenade was filled with a market where we were there (service) and there were many pedestrian traffic to entertain us about our cozy lunch. it is a beautiful, clean, relaxed device with thoughtful sunshades and sunshades to keep the afternoon sun away. a great way to relax with a light lunch after the auray remembrance. we plan to return here during our stay."
