"We visited The Coachmakers with our family who live nearby and we had the most amazing meal and a fabulous evening. We have been here before and over time the pub has undergone a really classy refurbishment resulting in what I consider to be a very high quality venue. Since our last visit there has been a very welcomed addition of a rather lovely “Wine Boutique” where I discovered a vast array of various high quality wines perfectly chilled and ready to either take out or drink in. My God I was like a little kid in a sweet shop! I managed to try 3 of the rosé’s (with a little help from my mother-in-law) and all were outstanding without exception. It would have been rude not to buy a selection to take home which of course I duly did. In between the wine, we all had a fantastic meal; my sirloin steak was a good size, extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. The rest of the family had nothing but good things to say about their meals, in fact my husband commented that his peri peri chicken was much better than Nando’s and double the size! My only regret is that we don’t live nearer this superb venue and if you are lucky enough to live nearby or are passing through, I urge you to pay it a visit, I can assure you that you won’t regret it! Thanks so much for such a lovely evening (and for delivering the wine) and we look forward to returning soon."

"Okay, maybe it seems a bit confused because these types are family. but this pub is really a real gem. very friendly and welcoming, fantastic home cooked eating (can I recommend the steak and kidney cakes! and the young are incredibly passionate about good service and good beer. excellent adnams broadside and ghost ship. very busy for eating busy times so book before!"

"Inside it's like a grotty old pub that's had a load of dining tables put in, and it was very cold in there. Decent burger that was flavourful but fell apart immediately. Just not a nice place to be."

"While visiting family in Watton we decided to go out for lunch and we weren't disappointed. What a great find, this pub restaurant hidden back from the main road was very friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a friendly smile and offered drinks before being shown to a table. After looking at the menu we placed our order of 3 all day breakfast, a burger meal, and the hot chilli and a few sides. The food arrived about 15 mins or so later and to say that the portion size was very large is understating. The breakfasts were massive and looked fantastic, the burger meal was huge and my wife said that it was really really good. I opted for the chilli that was pulled beef chilli and such a good flavour and the right side of hot that I would comfortably say that it was the best chilli that I have ever had, and I make a brilliant chilli even if I do say so. I would recommend a visit to anyone who find themselves in or around Watton. 5 star service and 5 star food."

"My wife and I are trying to come every weekend here, either on Saturday for a bite from the vert impressive menu and a drink or on a Sunday for a nice roast. the food is all freshly cooked and a great selection of local foods that are delicious. we were never somewhere else and found all the staff as happy and friendly as they are here. Go on."

"Ordered fish chips takeaway and it was the best fish chips we eaten for a long time. Great taste, lovely fish and top chips. Will 100% order again and like to try other items. On top of the great food the service from ordering to delivery was fantastic also."
