"What an amazing find! After seeing all the raving reviews, we went in with high expectations—and The Avenue DID NOT disappoint. The service is top-tier, the atmosphere is inviting, the menu is brilliant, and the food—OMG THE FOOD—is some of the best in Cape Town: Large portions, great flavour, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Kingklip and Calamari (and will be back to try the steak). Special thanks to Eric and the team for making our evening great."

"We have tried the Vegan-es-Crocks on the vegan goods market in kapstadt, and we were so impressed that we quickly turn around and buy more from site. then we missed them so that we ordered a batch of 6 in the next week! they are so delicious and buttery! Vegan-it offers a delivery to home, so it is convenient to order from them also. we plan to order the delicious butter croissants regularly!"

"The pizzas here are out of this world! The menu also offers authentic Italian style dishes, I had the bolognese which was absolutely delicious. In total, for a jug of Sangria, a large pizza and a huge portion of pasta the bill came to roughly £25 including tip. The staff are super friendly, we were seated immediately and our food came out within about 15 minutes after ordering. I highly recommend this place if you love pizza and Italian food!"

"Everything at this little cafe is vegan! Their coffees and hot chocolate are amazing and they have a fantastic array of pastries to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a croissant or breakfast bun, or a healthier treat, they have great selection. Their bagels are also delicious. We’ve tried the cream cheese and carrot lox, and the no tuna. The staff are also super friendly. Highly recommend"

"Had your Vegan Banana and Peanut butter shake 10/10, best shake I've ever had. Satisfying and not overly sweet like regular shakes. Also the portion was enough to share (had standard size). Service was also really good."
