"On a hot day I wanted to order a small iced latte however there was only the option for a large costing I asked for a small cup size with coffee, milk and ice and they told me they could not fulfill my order...and the only option was for in the standard cup. I don’t understand why if I want ice in coffee I’m forced to pay compared to the standard hot coffee which is approx, is the business so strict they can’t accommodate a customers order? Very disappointed... will spread the word of this experience."

"I was working in the Castle Hill area for a number of days and went to the Castle Hill Tav for lunch and dinner. The Tav has a good and generous lunch menu. It includes pub staples such as fish and chips, schnitzel, burgers...and even steak and chips. The meals are well sized and all come with chips. On the two occasions I have had lunch here, I found the meals to be well prepared and tasty. On the occasion I went for dinner here it was the Rugby League State of Origin Night. The Tav was well attended with a good quality crowd. Dinner options were again standard pub fare, but again well prepared and generous in proportions. The tap beer is quite good. It has good quality offerings from the big breweries such as James Squire Hop Thief, Toohey's Old and Coopers Pale Ale. Beer prices are reasonable by Australian standards for a pint of Hop Thief; for a pint of Old). I plan on being back at the Castle Hill Tav the next time I am in the area for work."

"Last change of the diet I had in the hope that this hillz cafe could fulfill my vegan appetit - it did! had the vegetarian sandwich (sans butter) and added avocado (spread). it was absolutely delicious on Turkish brot!"

"This place felt like any inner city cafe; which is great to have in the Hills. On the day that we went, there was mess all over the tables; and this was not cleared in the time we were there; so service is certainly something that can be improved.The coffee serving is also exceptionally small. The cups sizes are smaller than average."

"Milkshakes, concretes and burgers, love this combo! Burgers are good! The milk buns are fluffy, buttered and charged on the inside and the meat patty’s are pressed to reasonable thickness. I think there’s room for improvement, hence the 4 star but all in all, good burgs."
