"A cozy cafe perfect for a relaxing respite from the busy world outside. Stop in for a cup of fresh Coffee or a delicious breakfast. Their pancakes are light and fluffy as they should be and this is one of my favorite morning spots. It is also a popular place for takeout."

"It's more of a cafe than restaurant. I was happy that there is a vegan/vegetarian initiative, but the food was lacking. The lumpia is made already in a case and was not heated upon serving, the BBQ sticks were impressive, green smoothie was yum. They were out of a few things on the menu I initially chose and it was only afternoon. There's a good selection of organic and natural grocery items as well. Good WiFi and card can be used for 500+php. This cafe is attached to the MedSpa."

"A fishmonger in Ayala Where to eat in Cebu? There are many options in this bustling city, the second largest city in the Philippines. You will find many excellent restaurants in Ayala mall and so also you will find Seafood Island on the 4:th floor of the mall. The ambience is nice and airy and one side of the restaurant comes with a view over Cebu Business Park through big windows. Lots of goodies Seafood Island offer a variety of seafood, fish and meat. It took me a while to decide for the Binalot Boracay, a platter with lots of yummy stuff. Grilled shrimps, fish, squids and vegetables served with special rice with shrimp paste. This portion is good for at least two persons but since my appetite is comparable with two normal persons it was good for me. Summary The food was served on a banana leaf but the look of what was on the leaf and what was in the menu was perhaps not exactly. But the food was tasty and the staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent WiFi. The big plus with Seafood Island was the airy ambience and the nice view. The food was good but it's a fierce competition among restaurants in this area so next time I will probably try another place. Rating: 1-5 where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent 4 Food 4 Service 4 Value 5 Atmosphere I was here late December 2016"

"If you’re looking for a haven close to perfection, Marisse Patisserie is the place to be. Truly, a bliss in every bite. Marisse Patisserie's shabby chic theme provides the kind of atmosphere where people can sit down and simply enjoy good, homemade pastries and breads."

City: Cebu City, City Time Square, WO Seno St, Mandaue 6014, Philippines, Cebu City
"First visit. Been always sceptical of trying this restaurant after reading its reviews here and elsewhere. But I hadn’t been to Time Square so gave it a try. I stepped in around on a Sunday. It’s almost still the deserted hour. As soon as...I entered staff looked at me as if they wanted to say “Are you seriously coming now to eat??”. And the rhythm was then set for my experience for the next hour. I ordered Palak Paneer Tawa Roti, followed by a Butter Tawa Roti. While I waited I asked if they had wifi. Immediate reaction : “Sir it is there, but connection is too slow” (almost expecting me to reply ok leave it). But I wanted to try. The staff then picked the wifi router device, struggled to read the complicated password and finally gave it to me on a chit. This is after I initially struggled to capture her phonetics. Clear signs that wifi as a part of service is N/A or else passwords would have been generally handy. Service time for meal: Acceptable Palak Paneer: At the first look I was shocked to hardly see any paneer and the gravy was clearly watery. BUT I discovered as I dug in, that YES there’s paneer cut into tiny tot sizes. Something that indians aren’t really used to see. Taste was just about FINE. Tawa Roti: Chewy. Had to then order a Buttered one which was Post meal I ordered Indian Milk Tea which was fine. The Tea took too long to be served. All this while they played good Indian Punjabi songs in the background. BUT, half the time the staff was loudly interacting on the SPEAKER of their landline phone and amongst themselves completely degrading the overall experience. The Staff doesn’t even smile forget any other etiquettes. As a customer I followed more courteousness than the staff itself. Saving Grace : AMBIENCE is nice and clean. for the setup. Will I come back to this place again ? Here’s a question...Why will i go back to a restaurant where food is average and the staff makes matters even worse. I won’t recommend Expats or Indians craving for hardcore Indian taste to try this one. Infact BT (near country mall) still reigns supreme in Indian Restaurants In Cebu"

City: Cebu City, 2nd Floor, J Centre Mall, A. S. Fortuna Street, Mandaue, Philippines, Cebu City
"I was looking around inside J Center mall a few nights ago when I chanced upon this restaurant. I decided to look through the menu which was displayed outside the door to get an idea what they are serving. A staff member who handed me...the menu reassured me that their servings are rather large when I asked about. So told him I will just come back some other time which is what I did today for a quick lunch. A quick look around the interior of the place will definitely give you a western atmosphere but not so much of the 50s theme that the place claims to have. Since I had the assurance of large servings, I decided to have a quarter pounder Hicham Burger(P180 toP190) with bottomless iced tea(P60). I was thinking of ordering the buffalo wings but decided against it since I thought it will be too much for me and I always get considerably full whenever I eat a quarter pounder from McDonalds. The staff was very accommodating and prompt. It seemed like everybody there wanted to refill my iced tea. The cold drink was great with the warm weather but I have to say that you can get better iced tea somewhere else. My burger arrived and I thought it was a bit smaller than I expected and it didn’t help being served on a chopping board. I've had bigger and delicious sandwiches at the same price before. The food tasted great though. The meat wasn’t dry and everything else seemed fresh. I don’t know where they get their cheese from but looking at it reminded me of the kind served in roadside burger joints (Angel’s Burger). Same texture and taste too. But burgers are always better with cheese, right? After the meal, I knew I should have ordered the buffalo wings. It’s a good thing a quarter pounder is the minimum serving for their burgers. The other items in the menu looked interesting enough for another visit. I wish I can say you have to go there hungry but I enjoyed my sandwich and I wouldn’t mind trying out the rest of the food."
