"I think this must be a new start up as I am gobsmacked that there are no reviews already here. We went on a Wednesday Night and it was very quiet. Wednesday is a quiet day in Brittany as all the kids are off school and we could not find a taxi in the area for love or money. We were a bit dubious about entering as aside from a few people at the bar the place was very quiet but as it was already 8pm a team decision was made to give it a whirl and I am so glad we did. The levels of cleanliness and service were of the highest order and the friendly welcome we received was outstanding. You will need a smattering of French or a dictionary at least here as English is not a strong point but it added to the fun (and two or three of us are fairly fluent or fluid as it turned out). The starters wonderful snails, scallops and goat's cheese certainly grabbed everyone's attention and after a long day on the sunny coast we were more than ready for the mains, Wonderful duck, steak and tuna steak dishes appeared with generous salads (or seasonal vegetables where requested) and brilliant new potatoes. An absolute pleasure! Most everyone was happy with that, and carafe after carafe of excellent wines continued to our table long after the official closing time of 9pm. The two of our party who had sweets thoroughly enjoyed them and I feel we who went without missed a treat! Although we ended up as the only diners our evening did sot suffer for this brilliant unobtrusive AOR in the background, the flow of excellent food and wine, and the happy conversations of old friends reuniting in the foreground! The bill when it came was most reasonable. A great night in an outstanding restaurant would love to go back when it's packed. That will be soon, as, I was so taken with Brittany I am in the process of pulling stumps and retiring there! Need I say more don't miss this place see you there. Oh and the final bonus for the French staff and us English customers alike was that news filtered through that Spain were out of the World Cup as well so suddenly it was not quite so embarrassing to have an English accent!"

"Le petit Rozell creperie is the best place for crêpes that I found in Brittany or anywhere else in fact (except maybe for my mother 's). The restaurant is charming and has an old pressoir that was used to make cider back in the days and...was transformed to make a large table, really beautiful. Something also worth commenting on is the place is spotless. We received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the owner Bernadette who took us to our table before returning to the kicken. I started with a ble noir (also sometime called sarrasin, buckwheat in English), plain with butter, it was perfect, crispy but not impossible to fold and full of that distinctive ble noir flavor. Then on to the froment that I also ordered plain with butter, a master piece, thin, sweet with a perfect balance between the crisp on the edges and softness in the center. As I was enjoying my plain crêpes my nephew went big, starting with a Norwegian ble noir smoked salmon and sour cream and his second a complete ham, cheese, egg with tomato and onion both were to die for, DE-LI-CI-OUS!! Bernadette uses the best products and makes almost everything fresh herself. To finish our evening we ordered a couple sweet crêpes a soleil , a salted caramel/banana and for the grand final an duchess 's Anne with vanilla ice cream, home made chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Alex waited on us and did an excellent job. Bernadette mentioned setting up in the next couple days her beautiful terrasse for the summer and doubling her space. We didn 't make a reservations but it is strongly recommended and specially in the seasonal months. Everything was great."
