"Dropped in to try out their coffee. They're not stupid. The standard blend is a medium dark roast, suitable to the Costa lovers. Not to my taste but it will be for the majority. ...but, they also have a single origin lighter roast on and I expect there's always a lighter roast on for nerds like me. The Columbian they had at the time, like the blend roasted by The Espresso Lounge and not bought in, was fantastic. Well balanced acidity. Poured quite long it worked well both as an espresso and flat white. I tried the blend on the way out. It was well done. Not my style of coffee but you can tell it's been prepared and extracted well. A great coffee shop, likely one of the very best outside of city life. Another note. The kitchen seemed to be run with efficiency Ramsay's Kitchen Knightmares would be happy with. Bravo!"

"From out of town and my partner has never had an Indian. We ordered from here and the food was amazing. Probably the best chicken korma I've ever had very pleased And I will definitely recommend!"

"I ordered the eggs royal and hubby the complete English breakfast. we had something extra. I'm always making my breakfast as the eggs are made. my eggs were so well cooked that the yellow burst from the middle to my satisfaction. these are the best eggs I had so far. coffee wise my flat white was quite generous and the temperature perfect. this is a shop that I would definitely recommend."

"We were in this beautiful holiday home with our daughter and little dog and had the most beautiful stay. tim and his team in the greyhound inn were very hospitable and we were served with a fantastic evening meal that would be worthy of every Michelin...gastropub! thanks to you all, and we will return!"

"Very cozy place for the perfect Sunday Roast. We came in with a group of 7 and were accommodated swiftly. Service is friendly, and the food is delicious. We love that they have mini versions of their dessert, served with a hot drink. This way you can still try their delicious triple chocolate brownie"

"A small cafe for hot drinks, cakes or light meals. Easy to miss but accessible from the towpath perfect for a break if you are walking. Very pleasant, especially if the weather allows you to sit out. Child and dog friendly."

"We have been using the 6 hole pitch putt course periodically over the last 4 years generally enjoy the experience. However, the greens have steadily deteriorated in quality. They were particularly poor on our most recent visit- uneven weedy the weeds had recently been treated but the remaining dead dying weeds left some nasty , ball deviating lumps bumps . The tee mats are in poor condition with some of the integral tees missing. Introducing ' football golf ' alongside was a big mistake, in my opinion. Who wants people booting footballs all over the place whilst you are trying to play a golf shot? Despite the injunction of a no more than 4 in a group rule, it is flouted I note that football golfers flit from hole to hole in not always the numerical order. Also not impressed by groups with tiny tots tagging along with adults holding up others for ages whilst they tap balls 3 metres at a time. Great on a quiet day but to be avoided at all costs during school holidays. Do not expect perfection but one still pays to use facility- Enforce some modicum of order discipline please."
