"Although duisburg has hardly as many nice looking caffes or restaurants in comparison to other Rhein-Ruhr cities. I give my guard after that roberto, because I make a cozy little place with underlined pizza (very satisfying, and aromen that only their back and...stomach thank you) and friendly staff. it takes one because for them to bring her to eat, so I would recommend them to go if they have a fixed hour or so to save for a meal. all in all, great indoor and welcoming atmosphere, and since roberto would fit perfectly with other cafes/restaurants in hipster/trendy quarters around the globus."

"Sehr interessantes Konzept. Heute war ich mit meiner Familie zu Besuch im Baba Su und war positiv überrascht. Die Aufmachung gefällt mir sehr und das Lokal ist größer als erwartet. Essen gibt es für all mögliche Essgewohnheiten, wie vegan oder vegetarisch. Für jeden ist etwas dabei. Das Baba So bemüht sich immer neue Events zu veranstalten und ist sehr höflich und arrangiert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind groß. Alles in allem ist es ein sehr gelungenes Konzept. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Very interesting concept. Today I visited Baba Su with my family and was pleasantly surprised. I like the presentation and the place is bigger than expected. Food is available for all sorts of eating habits, such as vegan or vegetarian. There is something for everyone. The Baba So always strives to organize new events and is very polite and arranged. The food is delicious and the portions are big. All in all, it is a very successful concept. We will be back."

".... but poor would be a little unfair. Average is my rating. How to explain this restaurant? It 's like, maybe, once about 30 years ago, this might have been a good restaurant. However today, everything seems old and tired (including the waiters, the menu and...the food . The menu itself was really extensive, listing many combinations of dishes, flavours, directions... it was like, well we 're an Italian restaurant, we 'll just make you anything you want . We were 3 people and we ordered an antipasti platter and a salad to share as appetiser. The antipasti were average (the grilled champignons were the best, the rest was just OK . For main dish, we all ordered the homemade pasta. One person had it with FRESH porcini. We double checked, because it is a little late for porcini.... yes, said the waiter: FRESH . Well I promise you, those porcini were NOT fresh... my closest guess was that they were dried, but who knows. The other 2 dishes were acceptable but not stunning. I am also pretty sure that the homemade pasta was not actually made by the restaurant but rather bought from the Italian wholesale supplier as handmade rather than one of the mass produced brands. The Pinot Grigio that we drank was quite acceptable for a house wine. The staff: there were 3 waiters. 2 of them seemed to be half asleep the whole evening. I think this was just disinterest. The 3rd waiter was better, and even cracked a couple of jokes, which was quite refreshing. The decor: well, we sat outside. The furniture was pretty dated, and the planter boxes which separated us from the street were those type that used to be made in the 60s and 70s: solid concrete, with tiny pebbles pressed into the outside surfaces. Inside the restaurant, it looked like a German restaurant from the 70s, and absolutely does not portray anything about bella Italia ; All in all... I would have to be pretty hungry (and without other options to have to return there."

"We eaten in this restaurant for three days and we can suggest that place to everyone that want to eat real Italian food. The food was very delicious and the quality of the ingredients was very high. Appetizers and main dishes really recommended as the icecreams and espresso. The service was very excellent. The staff is very friendly as the owners and Pino and Maria."
