"Our group has come to the Royal on the water for many years, the last time in March. As we all know, a lot has happened in the hospitality industry since March. At the Royal, regular employees seem to have been replaced by very young, almost work experience people. In this way the administration was forced due to the Covid pandemic, but it certainly leads to an unusual lunch. The work that paid for what was laborious and confusing at the end of the meal. Not as pleasant an experience as in the past. Food quality also slipped a bit."

"Amazing food. The best Indian food I've had in Perth for a long time. Big servings. Couldn't eat it all. Easy to get to by CAT bus and is in the entertainment book. The signature entree honey & chilli cauliflower was out of this world!"

"Came here for the first time and loved it! Had dinner at the Deck which consisted of share plates and lucky for me most could be made gluten free! The broccoli salad and pulled pork was delicious, although I was unsure whether I liked the garlic bread which was made with ricotta and shaved garlic pieces. Grilled cheese was very salty but I love salt so didn't bother me too much. <br>
The Deck is the more casual part and you don't need a reservation, but it was still table service which was nice and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely go back. Would be a great place to go during the summer."

"We had a delicious dinner here. The restaurant was almost deserted (It's a quiet area) but undeservedly so. The mains are all reasonably priced, and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was lovely. Try the mithy naan, it's delicious. They do lunch here too- we will probably indulge again soon"

"Thumbs Up. We dined here last Saturday and I thoroughly enjoyed my Salmon with Zucchini 'noodle ' , Potato Croquette in a pool of fish or seafood stock. For some, the salmon might be considered overcooked by I like my salmon well-done, with crispy skin. My partner had the Rabbit Orechiette and liked it too. For dessert we had the profiterole...nice and generous! 4 profiteroles for $9 and doused with chocolate sauce.<br/ <br/ I would certainly return! Friendly service too."
