"Visited the wishing well for lunch, it was quite busy when we arrived but we had booked so no problem getting a table. The staff are very friendly and the ambience is quiet and relaxing. The menu has a reasonable number of dishes to choose from but the cost of the food is excessive compared to other restaurants/ coffee shops we have visited. The carpet is very faded and is in need of replacement. The other strange rule is you must spend a minimum of £15 before you can pay by card, and you can not leave a tip for the staff by adding it to the bill when paying by card, in this day and age of a cashless society, when the majority of people do not carry cash this situation is not very satisfactory and can be very inconvenient. The scones were good and the coffee is nice."
