"In Studs Terkel’s collection of interviews, “Working”, a waitress explained her approach to table service and “quiet”: “Some don’t care. When the plate is down you can hear the sound. I try not to have that sound.” During our evening visit, Seize The Cafe’s waitstaff achieved that subtle objective. The rest of the staff, however, succeeded in producing a continuous high decibel-range of clatter, making conversation amongst diners a struggle. A fully packed Olive Garden or Mazzi’s is church-like compared to the noise level at Seize The Cafe. Perhaps the owner is hearing impaired. Let’s hope he installs a drive-through takeout window for his incredibly fine food. Their parking lot is roomy enough for a pleasant meal and conversation amongst passengers. Consider bringing your own lap trays and extra napkins."

"Update #2: originally gave this 5 stars, but dropping two for inconsistency. The last few times we went, the sauces were watery and tasteless. Very disappointing Update: tried the special ?Cajun Alfredo? and wow. Seriously, such a good pasta dish- roasted red pepper fettuccine with shrimp, veggies, all doused in a spicy cream sauce. Wow!! Placido?s is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic, the wait staff are friendly and accommodating, and the space is quaint and nourishing. Highly recommend!"

"Disappointed.... I went in there WANTING to like this place, and expecting it to be great! The line was SUPER long, so I figured the desserts must be really good, but I wasn 't impressed. Service was fast and friendly, but I was expecting the best desserts in town... I had a cannoli...Not sweet enough, seemed to be defrosted recently, and just not even close to a GOOD cannoli.. I also had 2 chocolate candies 1.50 each! . I had a strawberry basil and a lavendar milk chocolate.. I think Lindt makes better chocolates by a mile. Sorry, Sweet Life, I was simply disappointed. I will try again sometime soon, I hope it 's better :"

"Still what every Burgerplatz wants. Cornucopia is really the gold standard for food quality. The burgers and sandwiches are always 5 stars for size and quality, their frits are perfect, and their staff is amazing. Yesterday we received 5 star service from Cameron, who was fast, friendly, professional, and made our trip amazing. The blonde bomb and pommes my husband got were phenomenal, and the powerful Quinns and Pommes with Ranch for me was perfect. Thanks for another perfect meal!!!"
