"Love this place looks super dodgy on the outside but the food is fantastic. Fresh cooked on the spot in front of you we highly recommend the chicken tikka masala!"

"In the evening of Wednesday 21st October 2015, my wife and I decided to give this cafe-style restaurant a try. It is located in the Blunder Road Shopping Centre in Oxley. The owner, originally from Andra Pradesh in India, was pleasant and chatty. We ordered a takeaway dinner special for two. We were allowed to choose two curries with this deal, and we opted for Kadai Chicken and Fish Curry, both of which we preferred medium hot spiciness. This deal came with two tubs of rice and a large naan. Our orders were cooked by a lady, presumably the owner’s wife, in the kitchen at the back. We were told that our order would take at least 20 minutes to prepare, and although it took a bit longer, it was well worth the wait. The Kadai Chicken (which originates from Pakistan) was creamy and enticing with a distinct flavour of capsicum. It was spicy and most tasty. The Fish Curry had a pleasant spicy South Indian flavour. The fish used was basa and was very palatable. The serves were generous and more than adequate for the two of us. We were surprisingly pleased with the authenticity of the dishes and the unique blend of spices used in their preparation. Not the usual fare one gets in other Indian restaurants. This place is certainly a hidden gem. They are not open for business on Mondays though."

"St. Wonton is a small restaurant situated in Pacific Centre. The newly opened establishment specializes in southern Chinese style wonton soup and cold braised meats. We were there for weekday lunch and ordered pork wonton soups ($12), braise peanut ($1) and shredded braised pig ears ($3) to share.

The appetisers arrived within 5min presented in small plate servings. The peanuts were soft, mushy and seasoned well. The shredded pig ears were flavourful with an appetising crunch with each bite. The only criticism is the overly salty broth utilized for braising. 3.5/5

The wonton soups was up next with 12pc pork wontons in a lightly seafood seasoned broth. The small wontons were made to order with fresh pork mince seasoned with salt, pepper, dark sauces & spring onion. The wontons are chewy with mild porky flavours. Broth wise is on the thin and watery side with a few fried tiny shrimp. 3.5/5

Overall service was average at best. The lady behind the counter was not that friendly and lacked customer service experience. Everything else is self-service.

Hint: Traditionally, wontons in the Fu Jian province are made chewy deliberately. It's a painstaking process where hunks of meat are beaten by metal bats until minced thus the chewy texture. It's great St. Wonton honors this tradition and make their fillings in a similar way. Give the wonton in chicken soup a go. If you’re feeling adventurous, traditional salty soy milk soup is an interesting alternative ;-)"

"To dunsie about your review, need to tell something. You said the chef was eating. I know him last 7 years and very regular. He was breaking his fast after not eating whole day. Ofcourse he was not eating your meal. Can you work after full day fasting not even drinking water. I beleive never and you must appreciate still he cooks after doing fasting whole day. Now coming butter chicken. Ha ha funny you said butter cbicken colour was yellow. The color is orengish. I am having butter chicken at least once a week and never find yellow. May be you have no idea about butter chicken or may be you are used to those restaurants who reheat the food. Ha ha"

"The only place to go in Brisbane for the best takeaway Banh Mi. Oh my gosh, that bread!! Where can I buy this bread? I am obsessed with it so lightly crispy and airy soft inside. So good. I normally get the chicken roll with added chilli. The beautiful flavours of marinated chicken that meld with the pate and garlic butter are just perfect with that soft bread. And all this amazingness for just $4. It's not easy for me to get to but if I am remotely close to this area I will make sure I stop in and get one every time."

"The best butter chicken I have ever had. It may not be everyone's cup of tea as it is Sweet but me and kids enjoyed it. My husband doesn't like sweet curries and opted for Chicken Tikka Masala with medium heat. It was an absolute...delight as well. We will be back."
