"I wanted to love this place bc it's so close to my grandmother's and mom apparently went to school with the owner. But it was really kinda meh. The service and hush puppies were great. And their portions are a good value. But I was underwhelmed by my crawfish- tasted only like liquid boil, no other flavor. And my grandmother's redfish was not only not blackened as described, but the crabmeat topping it was awful. It was like the cook just dumped it out of the tub from the grocery straight on top of the fish without seasoning it or heating it in the pan. And the longer it sat on the table, the smellier it got. My mom enjoyed her catfish. But I think if I ever went back, I'd probably stick to a poboy."

"Delicious. Always heard good of this place, turned in for lunch Friday, and got 2 shrimp poboys. Very good. Will be back. Update: this food ain't as good as it used to be. "Probably the best Chinese buffet I remembered lately. My friend and I went on a Sunday at 2:00 and it was pretty busy. All foods were fresh and continuously refilled and/or stirred. Some of the things I thought were great: Coconut Crisps (my favorite, roasted shrimps in a sweet coconut cream sauce, butter pepper shrimps, seafood salad, shrimps and celery dishes in a white sauce (the dish was cold served, seafood bags, crab rangoons) The favorite piece of my friend on the buffet was the bbq chicken on a stick I also enjoyed. The Bbq sauce was very delicious. Some things I thought were just fine: egg rolls, sushi (where I was a buffet that I kept this quite high praise, the tuna has been over par and everything else was fresh, lo my, spinach covered in cheese dish dishes that were bad: clam chowder (if I tried that I had made such a face that my bf thought it was not necessary to fish or leave it like anything else, The place was clean and tidy, the whole food looked fresh and well maintained, the staff was friendly. Since this place has received some negative reviews, I will say either they improve drastically or Sundays are the best days to go. $12.99 per person all day on Sundays and it was money well spent."

"Obsessed! I've been here for 3 or 4 times this season for the Viet Cajun-Grottenfische. It's always a 10/10. I love maize and potatoes, too so spicy and tasteful! It is always worth the ride!"

"Our server was great, kept my coffee filled but didn't bother us too much. I didn't get her name which was my bad. It was Sunday church rush so it was just my friend and I and seating was easy. I had the all star breakfast and it was yummy. I got extra eggs and sausage. My tea was strong which I liked. Besides it being a little loud, which made conversation a little hard, it was pleasant. The parking lot is a little wonky but if everyone else actually parked straight, there wouldn't have been any problems. All in all it was really nice."
