"Been here twice, I want to love it; the service is really good but the food is not. Both times they’ve overcooked everything, and both times the hollandaise sauce was so over cooked that it curdled/separated. Very unappetizing, regretted giving it a second chance, especially when it happened a second time.I'm honestly shocked at the amount of positive reviews it has, I have to wonder where else everyone is eating breakfast, to think this is good! I love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately their omelettes and hollandaise are really, really bad."

"This is the most affordable restaurant in downtown Halifax. In comparison to other locations, the prices here are low. The manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. After a pleasant talk, they also offered a complimentary dessert."

"A very good restaurant in the interior of halifax. portions were large enough. all the meals we had there, where just perfect. prices very appropriate for the quality of food. I also have to mention the quality of the service we had there from our server, who was attentive and professional. it will be a repetition when I am back in the opposite."

"My husband and I stopped in for a drink and some appetizers and we were thrilled! We sat at a booth by the bar, had a very pleasant waiter who recommended the mussels and Ceaser salad. So glad we went with his recommendations! Good size serving of mussels with lots of garlic, Chablis wine and butter broth, some orange peel and lemon. A couple of garlic toasts to absorb the broth were great too! Mussels were small and delicious. The ceaser salad had homemade croutons, shaves of Parmesan and a delicious dressing. We loved the mussels so much we went back the next night! Highly recommend!"

"This is my second time here.First time issue with the order: I ordered Indian coffee while ordering I asked is it Indian coffee? The person over the phone said yes it is. When I picked up my order I got regular coffee (literally and the person there told me she can put masala in it to make it Indian coffee )Second time: I ordered Dal palak and Tawa naans (same as tandoori naan but just MADE on Tawa instead) and I received store bought packaged naans I can literally get them for 5 bucks which I literally paid 2.75 each because they warmed the food up for me.Like there is no issue with it, but display and give an honest description of your food on your menu and also if you’re doing it then charge accordingly.This is so ridiculous, when u ordered something and given something else.Do not justify anything just update the menu. Do that people don’t expect extra.Thanks!"

"Great discovery! amazing for families and some of the best burgers we ever had. travel from ontario with the family and found darrell 's. kinder loved it. our waitress was so nice to us and especially to the children. they would recommend the erdnussbutter burger and the henne 'den burger. great eating at a great price! will definitely be back on our next trip through halifax."

"Although we were there as a family, the comments are about my terrible, expensive brunch! I ordered the scramble bowl with scrambled eggs. It was a plate, not a bowl I received. The salad was fresh but the dressing was terrible! The eggs were some...of the worst looking eggs I ever saw. The bread was advertised as sourdough; they forgot to type in the word, spelt, before sourdough. The worst bread I ever tasted! The only thing so good were the fried potatoes. The reason I said so good was that they mingled with the terrible salad dressing! This is the lowest rating I ever gave any restaurant about its food!"
