"I reached Westin at 2:45PM, only 15 minutes before the buffet ends. Obviously spending Rs.1500 per person at Seasonal Tastes to get access to the buffet only for 15 minutes makes no sense. To my surprise they still welcomed us very well.<br/ <br/ I got a table and frankly asked them about the time I'm going to get for the buffet. At first they were bit confused, later on they came to me and said we'll extend the buffet for another half an hour for you. This premium service is what you expect from a 5 star place and they totally won it.<br/ <br/ Ambiance is as premium as you expect from a 5 star property, actually I loved this place. Its so spacious, everything feels so premium and worthwhile for the amount you pay. But I'll recommend you to reach on time, specially for enjoying what they've put together for your brilliant experience.<br/ <br/ You can have a look at the top of the building till 31st floor standing in center of the restaurant and that is the best attraction here according to me.<br/ <br/ Buffet Rs.1450 (5/5)<br/ <br/ Usually when I write review about any buffet restaurant, I mention all the dishes present in the buffet. But here I simply got tired, there were so many cuisines, so many dishes to explore and many live counters that I couldn't note them all.<br/ <br/ Starters were fresh and simply brilliant in taste. The service was so good that they served many dishes from live counter on our table. Live counter dishes made by chefs in front felt just incredible. <br/ <br/ Mains are where many premium restaurants compromise, but not at Seasonal Taste. There were more than 20 different kinds of breads available, rice from steamed butter rice to Biryani everything you can expect. Again multiple cuisines and multiple curries, mutton, fish, chicken every other main course tasted good. But obviously I couldn't taste all of them. <br/ <br/ Dessert section, my god it was huge. From all the Indian sweets to every other fruit and mousse, you just can't try all of them in a single visit. Once you take something on your plate I bet you can't put it down, those were so damn tasty.<br/ <br/ Pricing<br/ <br/ Weekend Lunch at Westin costs Rs.1450. They add 18% of GST not 5% as its a luxury property, that makes the price Rs.1711 per head. If you're Dineout GP member then you get 1+1 at this price. Considering some newly opened basic restaurants in the city charging Rs.350 400 per dish, this one is steal of a deal.<br/ <br/ Conclusion<br/ <br/ I've been to many 5 star buffets but Seasonal Tastes of Westin serves one of the best lavish buffet in Kolkata. Top notch ambiance and service, wonderful food quality in every cuisine. If you want best of best buffet then I'll highly recommend this place.<br/"

"Ordered crispy potato bao from here and got it delivered in a nice packaging and with a quirky note attached. This is the first time that I have tried this dish so I cannot compare with other food joints. The bread was very soft, the potatoes were crispy and flavourful and there was also a cucumber slice dipped in sauce and cheese. Overall good experience, although I didn't like the smell of the sauce, but perhaps it is the signature of the dish so no complaints. Keep up the good work."

"I went to this place very frequently during my school days and recently I visited to find it hasn’t changed much. The staffs are very courteous and the food is always very tasty. It is surprising that you can get your tummy full with such good food at a nicely arranged and decorated place at such reasonable price. I am fond of the tender butter naan and the crispy chilli chicken with cut pieces of pineapple adding a blended sweet n sour taste. I loved the brownie which had a nice gooey texture. The place also has a nice parking lot."

"The ambiance was really good. An environment friendly type of ambiance where you shouldn't be afraid of taking your children or family at. The service however was a bit slow. I loved the box of mouth-freshner toothpicks-really extraordinary and extravagant- the noodles were properly cooked. Everything else was tasty. The 3 stars goes to everything else and the 2 stars subtracted because of the service. Otherwise everything was proper."

"It was like any other busy office day. Hopped in to Azad Hind Dhaba for a satiating meal also worried it will be packed since it was lunch time. But Voila ! Got a table. Without wasting any time ordered a plate of Chicken Biriyani. Quickly came my plate of Aromatic Chicken Biriyani. Just the look of Biriyani looked so tempting..add to it the aroma as bonus.<br/ <br/ Now to Food:<br/ Chicken Biriyani<br/ <br/ The rice was justly coloured and tasted really good. Just a spoonful felt bliss. The best part was it was tasty yet not oily. The chicken piece was very softly done and can be easily eaten with a fork. The potato was done very well. I liked my meal. Very happy.<br/ <br/ But though food delivery was fast, service was not attentive. It wasnt crowded yet nobody came to our table. We had to call out to them and even pay going to the counter. This is thumbs down. Otherwise the Food Sojourn was great."
