"I am a very cultured person from southern GA and this is the first time I ever felt so offended I got up and left before eating. This environment did not feel people of color friendly. The owner had the waiter come warn us the price of our top shelf drinks was $38 per cocktail, before he poured. The way she stuttered through the delivery to two young poc made me cringe. I couldn't spend a dollar when I knew we ordered two market priced entrees! Not once did we ask the price of anything, so why did he have her come warn us of the price of some don julio?"

"We eat here regularly and always are happy with the food. They have great burgers and the special are always good too. Now that I am dieting some I am really into their turkey burgers. They definetly have the best turkey burger that I've eaten in a restaurant."

"Charming, fun location, nicely decorated, great ambiance. Sound level permits comfortable conversation with no need to talk loudly or strain to hear. Interesting and unconventional menu, great for diners looking for something upscale and different. Some dishes are quite rich; if that's a potential issue for you, be aware of what you order in combination. Prices on the high side, though that fits with the aura this restaurant endeavors to project. Great to have a spot like this in Macon!"

"Surprisingly good! Pretty clean everywhere. It was 14.99 per adult. The steak wasn't the best (what can you expect, it's not a steak house). My biggest issue was the lack of signs for each food. There were a few and I appreciated the *has pork* notice but I didn't get a couple items because I wasn't sure without the sign. They have this really good corn bread with corn in it! The bread was good from one spot but from the other the bottoms were too hard to eat and was cold. The best was the cold apple pie. Server was really nice and kept up with bringing us plates. Also kept up with picking our plates up too"

"We was in the area on business for a couple days. Googled “ fried oysters near me” BOOM, Jim Shaws came up! Its a nice little resturant. We got there at opening”5pm” Within 30 minutes the place was packed! Staff was all very friendly. Our waiter, Chris was great! We had fried oysters, clam cakes, scallops, alligator ! all of it was delishous! Sad to say we will probablly never be back this way,, but if we ever do,, we will eat here again! loved it!"

"Probably it would never have been here if it hadn't been for a recommendation of a friend (I don't drink alcohol). what a pleasant surprise! the hummus was different, but delicious. the brisket was tender with a pfeffer-like crust. two BBQ sauces white and traditional (both delicious). although busy, the personal was friendly and attentive. better than any bbq I found in warner robins. combined with outdoor music in the city, made it for a great date at night."
