"Set not far from Morlais castle and the quarry (good to have a walk there near the golf course and then come to the Aberglais after) it's in a good location with great views all around. Good home cooked style food and a cosy but small beer garden. The place does get busy during peak times with the carpark getting full, so better to pop in mid week. Various bottled ciders, cold pull beers and ales on tap. They always seem to have at least one felinfoel ale on tap (last time it was double dragon). Bar area is a bit too modern for my tastes (it would have been nice to have it a bit more traditional/rustic). Can't go wrong (good to have a walk down the road as well with good walks near a former train station and old hotel which closed long ago). Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Absolutely shocking service in here. We visited on a Saturday LUNCHTIME! And weren't even sat a few minutes before being told they had no chips, and most of the menu was unavailable!! On a Saturday?!! Staff weren't exactly nice about it either! They didn't even apologize. What the hell is going on?"

"Amazing experience here today. We came for food with an autistic non verbal service user and required a few adjustments a quiet table, all items removed from the table, 2 plastic cups for the drinks, as well as having to pay for each meal separately. Richard the server today has made the experience so easy and enjoyable. Very polite and accommodating to all."

"Great traditional breakfast. Good value for money. You have a choice what size breakfast you want. Basic surroundings but the food makes up for it. They sell milk bread bacon sausages etc.Well worth a visit."
