"If you want to enjoy a good burger you definitely have to come to The WORKS!My kids wanted to go there and I don’t eat burgers but went along with them and OMG ?.The outside doesn’t do any justice to this lovely place. Great atmosphere, great staff and the owner Lew is a fantastic host, very personable and make everyone at home!The food is soooo delicious. We started off with the Tower O Ring, that was a hit for me with the homemade dip to die for! Now the meal even was better especially for someone like me who doesn’t eat burgers I was surprised to find a very delicious plant based burger “the son of the beach”? , my husband had Elk burger ?, and the kids had blue burger ? and poutine!To top all of this up the kids couldn’t resist but to have the birthday cake milkshake !We are going back again!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!Dietary restrictions: Great selection for everyone i.e Vegan, vegetarian and kids!"

"We were so disappointed coming to this Works after having pas great experiences in Ottawa . The server took our order and was very good at the beginning then never returned. We waited for over 35 minutes to get our food and it was not busy. My side dish of broccoli was raw you could tell they forgot it and threw it in the microwave for 30 seconds, I asked for our bill as soon as our food was delivered, after we ate quickly to go see a move i had to ask again for the bill. They must need more staff! We won't be back."

"Didn't like when this brand placed an old grocery store that use to be in it's place. The prices are very high, the quality is good though but not worth the money. Good place if you have money to spend. They have many vegan, veg options to buy for grocery items"

"Nice little place in the mall. Clean, with distance and overall a good layout and style. It was simple and cozy. The staff were ready to serve and attentive. They were busy, but it did not weaken the level of the service. It was our first time here. Positive are good portions, and food came in a reasonable time. Negative and probably it was a free day) the food was not beaten to the brand. The quality of the ingredients was there, but not the execution. For example, the house iced tea was too mad. Our children ordered each of their own, but couldn't come by a few sips. I tried it too, and it was just not paleable. The chicken strips and sandwiches were boiled to the point above, you can taste the over boiled near burnt flour on the coating. The dredging/coating is very thick, so if it over fried will keep this burt taste easy. Coleslaw was too salty and Pommes had no spice, but perhaps by design for the Pommes, so I will give them that). Geröstete Brusselsprossen were probably the best we got. We didn't eat all the foods, but the staff was gracious to take us some quality tablets. I give him 3 stars, but I'm sure they're a 4 stars on most days. If you enjoy this kind of kitchen, it could be your alley."

"The women (sisters? who run this place are angels. I dropped in once to grab breakfast (a delicious homemade quiche and the most fabulous french toast , not knowing this was the home of Ontario's best buttertarts. I grabbed a few on my way out since my family loves them, and now I've had to return several times for more. Always fantastic customer service, always a great selection of tarts. If you're in the area you'd be missing out if you didn't pop in."
